hand made generations old recipe both classic ingredients and newer flavors, vegan offerings too.
BaBa’s is a must do for us every time we’re in NYC and recently we enjoyed the hand crafted delights at home when we received a bunch as a gift after having a baby for my postpartum nurturing. Just like the name every pierogis feels like a bit of love from grandmas kitchen straight to the heart ( by way of the tummy)

I love coming here. Reminds me of my mom’s cooking. Vibes are great. Service from Bobby was stellar. Keep it up Baba’s!
We stopped in Baba's on the way to an art exhibit, and to escape the heat. What a pleasant surprise! The food was absolutely delicious we loved everything we tried. We also enjoyed the decorative touches and the history of the owners on the walls. Very reasonably priced and a delicious meal. Highly recommend.

Baba's Pierogies® is the top place to eat Pirohy. The taste of pirohy is amazing, and absolutely delicious pierogies offer that homemade pierogi taste. Loved the vegan options and great beer on tap. The food is absolutely fantastic. The kielbasa combo comes with one of each type of piergoe, all top tier, and the kielbasa is out of this world delicious. It comes with a giant thing of vegetable soup with simple ingredients that is so tasty. The cucumber and beet salads are refreshing, and the blueberry dessert pierogies are delicious. The Gowanus location is so beautiful with family history throughout. It is a cute little spot to dine in, though most people get takeout. The owner is super friendly. Very reasonably priced for great food and atmosphere.
