Onion soup, flatbread with wild mushrooms, camambert and truffle oil, creme brule, and service was exceptional. Definitely coming back!!
Outdoor dining is a set of tiny, adorable greenhouse structures, each big enough for one table and a tiny space heater.
What a wonderful gem! My husband and I happened to pop in and were treated to an amazing jazz band, fantastic cocktails and delicious food. We fell in love with Brooklyn last weekend and this will definitely be a place to return to for dinner!
I am from Alsace and I can tell this is a decent french restaurant. However there are some serious issues. We had 2 "Tarte Flambees" that night. The 1st one "Traditionnelle" was probably 1/10. Really overcooked and crispy. Almost no creme fraiche on it. Really disappointed. Barely touched it as it was not good at all. The 2nd "Champignons" was much better. Still a little dry but 6/10. Overall the atmosphere was great (with live music) and the service as well but the food needs to be improved. Not sure how you are preparing and cooking your "Flammies" but it needs some work.
It's inconsistent. Sometimes you get a really nice meal, other times not so much. I have. Feeling there's no consistency with the chef. When it's good I really enjoy it
Great food, waiters friendly and knowledgeable, one bartender needs to work on his people skills
We really love this place. The food is always very high quality and delicious. They are also very kid friendly. Our kids love the mac and cheese.
When I first arrived in NYC, we would go very (very) often… My friend is Alsatian and had never been so I suggested we’d give it a try. The four of us shared appetizers before individual entrees. It was good but not as I remember. Our tarte flambée was not cooked enough - onions were still raw, I found a piece of plastic in the tuna tartare, the bouillabaisse was too salty and disappointing (one piece of carrot and one chunk of tomato?!)… My friends liked their entrees but nothing extraordinary. The escargots were the highlight of the appetizers - I don’t eat them but my party was fighting over them! Service was super friendly.Overall an ok experience, when I had much higher expectations…
Fantastic food. Friendly staff. A neighborhood favorite.
This place is a must and the service is one of a kind. I strongly recommend giving this place a try when you can.

Amazing experience. The food was phenomenal. Such interesting flavors. Great for a date night.
I love to come here when I'm in the mood for different comfort food. Their Alsatian specialties are great, both the spaetzle and the tarte flambee. And you can order those also during brunch hours if you want something other than the usual brunch fare. Portions are great to share, and the staff is friendly. It's on a quiet block, so sitting outside is very relaxing. They have a small fireplace that they turn on in winter for that extra cozy feeling. Sometimes they have live music.
I ordered from Seamless and tried the steak frites with Au Poivre sauce and my steak was cooked to perfection (medium rare). The au poivre sauce was heavenly and I can't wait to order from here again. My food arrived late (and cold) but the restaurant called me to apologize about circumstances beyond their control. I didn't care because once the food arrived, it was so delicious.
Food looks good but taste super bland and is expensive. Came here with a party of five. Mix of adults and kids and no one liked their meals, but the location is fabulous and great for people watching. Don’t bother asking for a medium steak you will get it well done. Mac & cheese for kids is oily and my kid didn’t eat it and everything else is bland. The gluten-free chocolate lava cake contains flour?!
Nice outdoor dining. Good food. Good drinks. Good service.
