Came here with our two kids, and they loved everything there. It was nice that there's pasta on the menu now. But the kids loved the hash browns and the rib eye as wellKid-friendliness: Very kid friendly
We had steak and pork chops. They were very very good, especially at that price point. The best steak in nyc? Of course not. But for a lovely neighborhood spot, it was far in excess of our expectations. The restaurant is pleasant to be in. The cocktails were also first rate. Honestly I had my doubts, but if you live in the area (cobble hill, Carroll guns, the heights, etc) you should be going here. We will certainly be returning.

Great food and staff went above and beyond for a special request. We jokingly asked if they could make onion rings for a friend at our table. We had the best onion rings ever, along with my favorite pork dish in a LONG time. Great night, don’t sleep on Gus’s.
