This spot is so cute and cozy and has such a delicious menu. I had the chicken and escargot it was amazing. The wood burning fireplace was my favorite.

So this is particularly difficult to write as this restaurant has been one of our favorite spots for a few years now. We've been here on a date night, family outing and hanging out with friends and it was always top notch! However we dined here again this week and what a disappointment the service was. To make it even worse, I recommended this place and came with a group of friends that were dining here for the first time and I just felt downright embarrassed. We waited about half hour just to get our drink order taken. Then learned 10 minutes later that two of the cocktails couldn't even be made so spent another 10 minutes waiting for a revised order to be taken. Water was never offered and we finally asked for it half way through the dinner. We literally sat at an empty table for about an hour which had never happened before. When the food and drinks did come out, everything was absolutely delicious. My hat's off to the chef! To add insult to injury, we were hit with "automatically-added" 20% tip included in the total of our bill for a party of 5. The quality of service we received definitely did not earn the 20%. It breaks my heart, but I think I'll stay a way for a while until you sort your service out and find your way back to being the awesome place we loved for years.

Onion soup, flatbread with wild mushrooms, camambert and truffle oil, creme brule, and service was exceptional. Definitely coming back!!

Outdoor dining is a set of tiny, adorable greenhouse structures, each big enough for one table and a tiny space heater.

Me and my girlfriend went here the other night, it was a great night, spent the night near by in Brooklyn trying out some different bars and then came here for a romantic dinner. It was on a Saturday and it wasn't crowded at all. In was very cozy near the fire place and it was dimly lit just as we wanted it to be. The food was delicious.

I just adore this restaurant. Over the summer I visited countless times and each of those visits included the tuna tartare. Oh man, I can't even begin to describe just how delicious it is. They use the freshest tuna and perfectly ripe avocado, paired with warm, crusty french bread. I'm pretty sure there was a week in there where we went 3 times which is absolutely absurd, but we couldn't help it. Their drink specials are also enticing. Two-for-one beer/wine/sparkling during happy hour. Half priced bottles of wine on Thursdays. I've definitely taken advantage of those many a time. I also love the location -- it's on Union Street which is much more chill than the Court Street / Smith Street strips. They have a nice outdoor patio setup, and a balcony-esqe section in the front. I don't think I've ever eaten inside, but will certainly do so now that it's getting colder. We have tried other dishes and have not been disappointed in anything. But nothing has stood out quite like that tuna tartare. Go give it a try!

What a wonderful gem! My husband and I happened to pop in and were treated to an amazing jazz band, fantastic cocktails and delicious food. We fell in love with Brooklyn last weekend and this will definitely be a place to return to for dinner!

I am from Alsace and I can tell this is a decent french restaurant. However there are some serious issues. We had 2 "Tarte Flambees" that night. The 1st one "Traditionnelle" was probably 1/10. Really overcooked and crispy. Almost no creme fraiche on it. Really disappointed. Barely touched it as it was not good at all. The 2nd "Champignons" was much better. Still a little dry but 6/10. Overall the atmosphere was great (with live music) and the service as well but the food needs to be improved. Not sure how you are preparing and cooking your "Flammies" but it needs some work.

It's inconsistent. Sometimes you get a really nice meal, other times not so much. I have. Feeling there's no consistency with the chef. When it's good I really enjoy it

Great food, waiters friendly and knowledgeable, one bartender needs to work on his people skills

We really love this place. The food is always very high quality and delicious. They are also very kid friendly. Our kids love the mac and cheese.

When I first arrived in NYC, we would go very (very) often… My friend is Alsatian and had never been so I suggested we’d give it a try. The four of us shared appetizers before individual entrees. It was good but not as I remember. Our tarte flambée was not cooked enough - onions were still raw, I found a piece of plastic in the tuna tartare, the bouillabaisse was too salty and disappointing (one piece of carrot and one chunk of tomato?!)… My friends liked their entrees but nothing extraordinary. The escargots were the highlight of the appetizers - I don’t eat them but my party was fighting over them! Service was super friendly.Overall an ok experience, when I had much higher expectations…
