This is my go-to Malaysian spot on 8 Ave. The food is always so good. Favorate dish is the sizzling pepper beef with satay chicken. This place takes cash only but the prices aren't bad compared to some of the Malaysian places near park slope.
I tried curry dry noodles and dry wonton noodles. The cooking was good, but the quality of the noodles was average. Not the noodles I had in Malaysia. The curry was a bit too salty and the wonton wrappers were too thick.
We went there last night around 5:30 with my family of 6. We were sat at a table that faced directly to the sun so we asked to switch table but was giving a bunch of attitude by the manager/owner. She said the other table was reserved for a different party at 7pm (1.5 hours later) and kept reminding us over we need to finish by that time. Not the mention the restaurant was literally empty with plenty of tables open.I still left over 20% tips because this is how I am but I will...
