I don't think I've ever given a 1 star review before, but boy has this place inspired me!
It was not busy. Maybe 2 other people waiting. I ordered a plain bagel with cream cheese. It takes 15 minutes. And it was burnt, with this white, salty liquid that did not resemble (in look nor taste) cream cheese. $6.50 and 15 minutes wasted.

$9 for stripes of toast. The "boiled" eggs are VERY yolky. This dish is better served as a sandwich with two toasted bread slices, sliced hard boiled eggs with layers of butter and jam. Not picadera.😞
This post is about sustainability only! 😀
This café is one of my absolute favorite spots in the neighborhood, and is so cozy and inviting. But it surprises me that there are no in-house, sustainable, reusable options for coffee cups and water cups. In one visit, you can see so much plastic waste being created, and then just discarded into the trashcan to head to a landfill or incinerator.
I know you have some dishwashing capabilities because you use those reusable metal trays, so I wonder if you might be able to start offering at least some reusable cups at the water station, and mugs for people who meet with friends for coffee or to work from your location?
By 2050, the ocean will be filled with more plastic than fish, and I wish that local restaurants in this waterfront borough would help customers not contribute so much to the plastics crisis.
Thank you for considering, and thank you for creating such a lovely space. Would be even more lovely without so much trash!

Yet another so-called 'authentic' Italian place... Just throw in a few Partanna jars and some San Carlo chips to create the vibe. Now a days you just need to add the world “alimentari” to a place and the game is done ✅
I came here for a crossaint but they were all out of everything so I got this Nutella donut and it was incredible? The dough had so much flavor and was the perfect amount of sugar so that the Nutella did not make it overly sweet. I will come here again just for that donut haha. The decor is really cool and it a very laid back almost european vibe going. Good place to come for pastries if you are in the area. I highly recommend ??

Neighborhood staple with the best staff! The frittata always hits. My friends were in from Italy and I took them here for espresso and pasty and they loved it. “Oh wow it’s not fake Italian” ?

Salad ingredients decent but sandwiches were lackluster. Kale burrata beet salad simple and nice, but very basic. I thought when I ordered a tomato mozzarella sandwich it would be fresh mozzarella and sliced tomatoes... maybe a drizzle of olive oil at least. It was shredded mozzarella and whole grape tomatoes on very dry flat bread, my son wouldn't eat it after 3 bites. Cold brew was mid, maybe their espresso is better? Cotto sandwich seemed like grocery store lunch meat and more bagged shreds. I tipped 18% then realized they don't even carry food to your table. Would not return, certainly not worth $50.

This place is great. However, my main concern is that all beverages, whether for dine-in or take-out, are served in plastic cups. This is unfortunate, and for this reason alone, I have decided not to buy any more drinks there.

i ordered a soft boiled egg jam and butter breakfast expecting it to be a sandwich of some sort. perhaps i misread. however instead i received 2 soft boiled egg not even deshelled, some jam and butter on the side and cut up pieces of bread lmao. ok fine i try to deshell the eggs - they’re still piping hot and likely cooking … they’re so soft they immediately fall apart when i try to deshell them. i fully cannot eat it bc the shells are now mixed in with it. the bread im supposed to spread butter and jam on is cut so thinly i started laughing. i’m not kidding when i tell u this is the worse delivery i have ever received. $22 for delivery my punishment for being lazy maybe. fresh ingredients tho! good for u guys maybe prepare it for the customer though next time.
