I have finally found an amazing pizza joint near my house! Lenny’s is IT ❤️❤️❤️ true NYC pizza for sure ??I no longer have to go to my old neighborhood to get a decent size. Lenny’s has it all.

I had went there today with two other patrons we ordered the vegetable slice the Sicilian and the margarita. We were very excited to try Lenny's pizza for the first time because of the authenticity. When we sat down the other patron I was with took a bite of the vegetable slice and said something tasted and felt like glass in her mouth. She removed the food from the vegetable slice from her mouth and it was a piece of glass. The piece of glass also impacted her tooth which caused some pain at the moment and slight bleeding. We informed the workers behind the counter and at first when we ordered the gentleman also gave us a free zeppole each of us which was good while we were waiting for our food. The worker apologized stating that everything is fresh all the ingredients and there was no ingredients that were from glass jars. This could have been a very serious incident resulting in a fatality however it was concerning how the piece of glass got into the pizza which means that either there was a piece of glass already on the prep area or there was something - he said it was possibly the red peppers-that was prepackaged which the gentleman behind the counter said it could have been with the red peppers or something from the prep area maybe was left behind on the surface where the pizza was being prepared or a piece of glass fallen into the pizza or something could have possibly broke that was glass and gotten into the pizza before it was baked. Either way it was very concerning because it could have been a very serious incident however luckily we caught it in time before my guest had swallowed it. The worker throughout the slice when we brought it back up front with the piece of glass and gave us two Buffalo slices free however just the carelessness and lack of attention in food prep was a huge concern and sadly we would not be returning to Lenny's in the future.

I ordered pizza from here before never had an issue but this one time that I didn't add tip it's optional the owner calls me asking as to why I didn't add tip for the driver and I said I've done it before I just paid taxes on the delivery and the fee for delivery and he said the fee is for the house and he said they won't deliver to my address anymore because I didn't tip this one time crazy it's optional the tip like wow just because a I didn't tip this one time and he just left the pizza and he still was mad after giving him 3 dollar tip it wasn't even a driver it was the owner he walked himself to deliver so he got the fee and the tip
Food was okay but a mouse was running around the dining area & it kind of ruined the experience for us. Too bad I’m sure the food was good & I know it happens but seeing it out in the open dining area made my skin crawl a bit.

Pizza was truly delicious, and the gentleman behind the counter was great gave me free zeppole and garlic knots with my order , definitely recommend this spot to all !
