Lilia Reviews
This review is about the dining experience as opposed to the food. (But to comment on the food, it was mostly very good. Although i would not order the white asparagus or the pasta with lamb sausage again - both were bland.) It is difficult to get a reservation at this restaurant so we had to settle for a 5:15pm reservation. At no time were we informed of any time limit so naturally assumed we could take our time. We ordered drinks and soon after ordered the meal. And then...read full review
The idiosyncrasies of the seasonings are amazing in each dish.
While I love this place, for lunch or dinner. They should be embarrassed by the way they put their trash out and the condition of their sidewalk out front. There is grease and grime in layers on the sidewalk, beyond disgusting. That side walk should be hosed down EVERY morning after trash is picked up with hot water and scrubbed with soap.
And this from a place that is looking for a star, a Michelin star. For this alone they shouldn't remotely consider it.

Lilia is a restaurant known for its seafood, with grilled prawns, scallops, and clams being standout dishes. The pasta offerings are highly praised, with some calling it the best pasta they have ever had, noting that it melts in the mouth and is incredibly fresh and satisfying. Highlights include the focaccia, Italian Job dessert, and the highly appreciated housemade mozzarella, sheeps milk cheese agnolotti, ricotta gnocchi, and fettucine lamb sausage. While desserts have received positive remarks, some customers expected more from the Italian Job dessert.
Service at Lilia is a strong point, with friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable waitstaff providing professional service. The timing and pacing of dishes are well-managed, contributing to a smooth dining experience. The atmosphere is energetic and lively, focusing on the food. The menu is creative, offering exceptional dishes, especially in seafood and pasta. One dish, the artichoke (Carcioffe!), has been noted as tastier and bigger than before. The food suggestions from staff and the bar experience are also praised, adding to the overall enjoyment.
The restaurant has some areas that could improve, such as the toasted garlic bread, which some found burnt and lacking flavor, and a desire for softer bread on the focaccia. Despite this, many customers say they would return, especially for the pasta and seafood dishes, even if reservations are made a month in advance. Lilia is considered an outstanding modern Italian restaurant, with many expressing a desire to come back whenever possible.
