THIS is the standard against which all Portuguese egg tarts are measured against. My first taste was when I worked at a Brooklyn title company on 64th and 8th. Clients of the firm brought up boxes for the staff so I was able to try one. It was just so amazing! Rich and creamy, so tasty... First time order blueberry Yogurt Cake super yummy. The 6-inch cake is bigger than I expected. It’s enough for 8 people to share. The price is very reasonable and their service is very good. High recommend.
This morning I came to Lily Bloom’s on crutches, and the lady was kind enough to volunteer opening the door coming and going. Truly excellent service and excellent bakery goods. The pork buns were out of this world delicious & freshly warm and the almond croissant was huge & decadent. In-and-out in under 5 minutes. Truly a hidden gem.
