My family and I are always looking for amazing tasting Mexicsn food. At Lola's, we found it! The Mole is perfect! The margaritas are smooth and tasty. My son loves the wings (he's a hard person to please lol). My wife loved her meal too!
The atmosphere of a small, inviting family restaurant is a much needed add for the neighborhood.
Thank you! We will be back for sure!!

I’ve lived in this area for years and have never entered Lola’s. Decided to try it on a Sunday afternoon it was very warm and inviting, the space is a bit small but good. The setting is nice but no kid’s menu. With 2 small children we ordered rice & beans & french fries which they loved! But it’s more a table for 2 or lunch with friends setting. Parking is easy and the staff was friendly.

Supper!!!!..... I came for lunch, and the food is great, specially the chicken grilled bowl, but my family ate other things and they think the same, easy to park on saturdays at lunch time, I dont know on other moments.
One bad thing is the traffic light right on this corner at those moment that you are ating outside, car beeping all the time ( NYC typical).
Food came pretty fast.

This is horrible $32 for 3 soggy and bland chicken tacos and a cold bland chicken burrito. How are the tacos $14? This place is a rip off!! Your business should be ashamed.

We went to Lola's Mexican Restaurant for the 1st time this Sunday on a whim. It was better than I expected. We loved the look and feel of the place. It's not huge, but there is adequate seeting, you can also sit outdoors.
We started off with Flautas with Chicken, which were great. The combo of crunch, salt, sauce and creaminess works well.
1of my sons ordered the Chicken Quesadilla, and he said it was the best he even had. My other son ordered a bowl with just Rice and ground beef. He is a picky eater, but he loved it. My wife and I ordered the Beef and Shrimp bowls also, they came topped with fresh Lettuce, tortilla chips, Pico de gallo, Guacamole, rice and black beans, which were pretty good. We weren't even super hungry.I also ordered a Pińa Colada, which was pretty tasty, though a little small. The staff was pleasant and attentive. Overall, I am glad we finally broke the ice and gave Lola's a try, we definitely have found a new local spot.

I had the carne asada. My wife had the steak chimichanga and son had the chicken quesadilla. Everything was delicious and the service was great. Also, the classic margarita was excellent.

My family has been ordering pickup from this restaurant for several months. I usually order my food separately. Normally the chicken chimichanga’s, once or twice weekly. Never had any problems until recently (normally the food is great). The past two weeks I have noticed a change in preparation. Sometime the chimichanga’s were just plain overcooked and tasteless. Normally the give you two separate containers (one containing 2 chimichangas and salad on the side and the other had the beans and rice. Tonite I received the complete order in a small single container. They placed the hot chimichangas on top of the cold/wet salad. This caused the chimichangas to become cold and moist instead of hot and firmly crisp. This also caused the hot beans and rice to become cool instead of hot or even warm. The chimichangas were almost tasteless and difficult to cut and then pick up with the fork because they were wet from the salad which caused them to fall apart. My son told me that he too had noticed a not so good change in the food preparation recently. Like I said, I have had no problems with the food at this restaurant until recently and I will order from them again next week. If I experience the same or other problem, I will adjust this post accordingly and will recommend that people not patronize.
As promised, I decided to give them another chance. I returned to Lola’s on July 19th and ordered the chimichangas again the day after I received a reply to my original post. I request that my order be placed into 2 containers instead of one as suggested in their reply. When I picked the order up the order was in separate containers as requested, the chimichangers were not placed on top of the cold damp salad. The chimichangers were were not overly cooked (the outer pastry was not crispy and the inside contacts were tasty and not over cooked as the original was. The beans and rice were plentiful and tasty and the salad was well seasoned and plentiful. I was happy. That is untill I ordered this same item last night, Aug 7. To say this meal was horrible would be being nice. The Chimichangers were just plain overcooked. It was like cutting through cardboard with my steak knife. The chicken was over cooked to the point that it had a shredded feel in my mouth.even the cheese was like cardboard. There was absolutely no taste to the chimichangers. The salad was unseasoned and that along with the rice and beans were almost half the portion size as the last order. I actually thre the second chimichangers into the kitchen trash can after I asked my wife to taste it and she made a face after tasting it. I felt like the last time I went there, I was being pacified and this time was payback for not posting a better review after the July 19th order. I will never again patronizes this restaurant and I suggest you do the same.
