It's rare to find hong kong milk tea in Brooklyn, and this baker is one of the few spots that offer a decent version. Not 100% authentic (not sure if there is one in Brooklyn as of today), but pretty close!

I stopped in on a lark today as I was walking by. There are several Chinese bakeries from which chose on this stretch of Avenue U - a few of which I have tried and like.This bakery is quite small and there are only a few tables but as in many Chinese bakeries, sitting at a table at which others are seated is quite acceptable.The women at the counter were very nice and patient with my pigeon Chinese. I ordered a chrysanthemum tea and a cha sui bao (steamed pork bun). The tea was the right drink on a cold winter's day and the bun was not only huge but filled with some of the most flavorful sauce and tasty meat I have ever had ~ and I have had a lot of them.Best of all, total cost: $3.00!

Today I went to buy ice coffee and the lady less ice please . The lady said less ice need to pay extra $0.25 cent! This is ridiculous! Scraping out on us who gave them business. Will never go again ! Service is getting worse too!

This is a place you run in to get a quick bite and coffee on the run. The foods are pre-made, ready for your choosing. There a lot of buns, cakes and breads that all look delicious. They sell strong hot or iced coffee that will keep you wired for hours!
Pretty solid bakery and a great place to get a bite to eat in the morning. The food comes out pretty quickly and service is alright. For less then 5 dollers you can get a pretty filling breakfast of a pork/chicken bun, a sweet pastry bun, steamed shrimp noodles, and a coffee/tea.
