MáLà Project Reviews
Hands down probably the best Chinese food in the city. I could eat here everyday.
Loved every minute of it. Awesome food. Service was excellent.
We had a WONDERFUL time at Mala Project this week. Our server, Kyle, was extremely helpful in recommending ‘must haves’ for our appetizers, dry pot and, of course, drinks. We planned for only a quick bite to eat, but the atmosphere was so welcoming, we ordered more drinks and hung out for a while. Highly recommend this restaurant!

MáLà Project in Brooklyn offers a great dining experience with unique Chinese dishes like dry pot, fried chicken, and fried noodles. The cozy space is perfect for indulging in the full-on meat and carb-heavy dishes. The staff provides impeccable service and creates a welcoming atmosphere, with team members like Sofia and Ava taking the time to explain the dishes and get to know customers. The eye of round dry pot and beef fried noodles are highly recommended for a delicious meal. The restaurant also has a vibrant and cozy interior, making it a popular spot for sharing dishes with friends. Many dishes are full of veggies and flavorful spices, especially the dry pot, which is known for being delicious and often vegetarian or vegan-friendly. Prices can be a bit steep, so diners often opt for the lunch specials between 12-4 pm, where dry pot items are about half their usual price, offering good value. Happy hours from 4:30-7 pm feature deals on cocktails, wine, and beer. The Dr. Yīshēng cocktail and scallion pancakes have also received praise. Overall, MáLà Project remains a must-visit for those craving some of the best Chinese food in the city.
