Very cozy spot to visit after sunset. Would love to visit on a jazz night. My pizza took around 45mins and didn’t wow me but I did enjoy a delicious hot toddy. Bars with a hot drink menus > basic full

The drinks are good, the food is solid, and the music is fantastic. Also, I once happened to sit near a couple that spent almost an hour speaking to each other exclusively in "Elmo voice" on an otherwise quiet night. Unbeatable experience.

I really like this place. I used to go often when it was The Wilky before it closed. The drinks are good and the outdoor seating is a good alternative. They usually only have 1 or 2 people working so it can get busy but with a group of people I didn't mind the wait.

Stayed near Marians by back in April 23, this was the closest bar… so glad it was! The atmosphere was great (chilled/relaxed) and the bar guy was incredible! Can’t remember his name (my bad) but it was the guy in the first picture with red bandana! He introduced us to high West whiskey (don’t get it in the UK) what an incredible drink that is! (Since found it since on Amazon! Totally hooked!?) thank you for the memories Marian’s! If I ever find myself back in Brooklyn I’ll be there! Epic bar! ??

The nicest plase in neighbourhood. Great staff, positive atmosphere...

Great venue in the back for music. Pizza is cheap and filling.

I would’ve given Marian’s five stars but I think their food has taken a turn for the worst. They used to have these incredible pretzels, but the last time I went I got some sort of frozen pretzel you can buy at the grocery store. Disappointing because the grocery store ones are probably cheaper. Same goes with their pizzas. Can y’all bring back the good food and chef?!The drinks are ok, I feel like they were also better at one point. Not sure what kind of change happened but Marian’s used to be it! Now, it’s sort of a meh spot that my partner and I go to only because it’s closest option, not because it’s incredible.

Drinks are good. Try the dizzy rickey cocktail, its refreshing.. Mellow vybez more of a speak easy if you ask me. I would give more stars just based off of the ambience because who doesn't like a good speak easy. My major issue was the frozen microwavable pizza. It was horrible. And I specifically asked if it was fresh and not placed in the microwave and she told me they had an oven. Very very disappointing because I am a pizza person. Other than that great space to hang out chill, good vybez overall.

4 stars, rounding up since 3.5 isn't an option. A fine neighborhood bar. I live about half a block away and come in here less than I wish I wanted to, because:The pros:+ very good beer list, especially if you're not an IPA fan. They have like 16 taps or so and generally only ~3 of them are IPAs (they have good IPAs too though don't worry, that's my go-to)+ chill music -- on speakers in the front room, and frequent live jazz in the back+ generally pretty quiet and laid back vibe (I'm getting old, I want a dimly lit, mostly dark, not-very-crowded bar)+ nice little outdoor seating area for warmer times. Nothing special, but a nice option that a lot of the stuff up on Broadway doesn't have. The cons:- food took a huge turn for the worse. They used to have absolutely insane sandwiches that I would rave about to my friends; Marian's was easily a 5* place that I'd eat dinner at frequently. Amazing BLT; broccolini porchetta; chicken tinga quesadilla; and some delicious grilled cheese variants -- the menu changed regularly and never missed. I'm not sure if they weren't making money, or the chef left or whatever but now they just have frozen pizzas that you could get at the grocery store. Pass.- when I first started coming here, the service was amazing. In between now and then they had some not-great bar staff (I get annoyed when I sit at a mostly-empty bar for several minutes before the bartender even acknowledges my existence because they're chatting with their friend). Those bartenders doesn't seem to work there any more and the service is good again now so not knocking any stars for that, just wanted to note it.

Warm lights and a comfortable environment. Only came by for a event but the interior of the bar was very inviting. Servers were also very nice even with the sudden increase of guest. The food served looks good but unfortunately I haven't ordered them so I can't properly give my opinion on that.

One of my favorite neighborhood bars for sure. The staff is very friendly, the seating area is nice, and the patio is great in the summers. Trivia and live music are sometimes going on, which is always fun. They do have snacks and some food, mainly pizzas. The only downfall was when they took the grilled cheese off of their menu. But definitely check them out, you won’t be disappointed.
