My husband and I really enjoy this place, lately, it seems to be closed often!
Visited Bedstuy from out town to attend the the 3rd Annual Stoopes Festival between (Decatur and Stuyvesant) on 8/8/26 and Cheri's was our planned foodie stop. I enjoyed the Sticky Shrimp because the flavor was popping and different than other similar items I've had before. The texture was on point. I ate the salmon with rice and peas, Mac, potato salad kale w/ collards. It was definitely a southern home style taste. We went for brunch and it was so good! Say I. The backyard, vibed out and just enjoyed the beautiful weather. We had the best time talking to the owner. Def going back.

Guests enjoy delicious complimentary cornbread that is moist and sweet, along with refreshing drinks like jazzy mimosa and tequila lemonade. The star dish, steak and eggs, is juicy, tender, and well seasoned, often considered the best by visitors. Other popular options include fried salmon with grits, mac and cheese, and greens, all well-prepared and flavorful.
