We chanced on Mazzat last night and we're happy to find a top-notch choice. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The place itself is cozy, much like a neighborhood bistro. The menu didn't seem all that impressive but when we saw all the specials there was a lot that we were interested in trying. In the end we shared a spinach pie to start, which came with a green salad that was enough to make us decide to cancel the Greek salad we were going to share afterwards. Then we shared a rack of lamb, five succulent chops with haricot verts amandine and delicious bulgur cooked with a mild tomato wash. For dessert one of us had the chocolate mousse cake and the other had baklava. All in all, it was a very satisfying meal.

Whether my husband and I sit at the bar, outside at a table or order food for takeaway, the service and food are incredible. Jay and the rest of the staff are lovely and everything is really fresh and tasty. We feel so lucky we live just a few blocks away! Definitely a neighborhood gem.

The food at Mazzat was really good. The restaurant is big and not loud, and the service was very attentive. We went for lunch on the weekend with our two kids and it was lovely.

Hidden gem providing very high quality food especially their meat. We only had lamb shanks and lamb cigars and didn't even take pictures of them because of how good it smelled and tasted. Some of the best baklava I've had in a while and tiramisu.Service is prompt and attentive while giving you space while you're eating to enjoy your meal.Overall I would highly recommend you to come here hungry and allow yourself to have a great meal with your loved ones.Will be back again soon.

What a wonderful night of delicious food. My partner and I decided last minute to take an Uber to Mazzat, and I am so happy we did. I just found my new favorite local spot.The food and flavors are traditional yet mesmerizing. The Lamb Cassoulet and the Spinach Feta pie are beautiful.Carlos and Jay are gracious and make you feel at home. The music is just the right volume and the vibe is elegant yet subtle, not pretentious.Definitely coming back and recommending this place to you!

Exquisite food and atmosphere. Jay is the best waiter I’ve ever had. I highly recommend the Merguez and Kunafa. Try it, you wont regret it. I will definitely return. Very family friendly as well and lovely drink selection.
