POV: solo female traveller. First night in Brooklyn and discovered this bar when rolling my luggage past on my way to my accommodation. Had to go back and so glad I did. Its super close to the Barclay Center and the metro. Excellent friendly service from George which made me feel welcome and I may of stayed longer than anticipated because the bar was very laud back and friendly. Don’t pass this place without stopping by!
There are pubs by the dozen and this pub fits into that category. Although McMahon has a lay back no pressure pub. They are attentive though not over bearing. The bartender is a good guy, that tops most bartenders in knowledge and execution. First time I had a black 'n tan and got it right.
I MUST preface this review, that I went there on a Saturday around 3:00 pm.
I do hope to return on a busier night to get the vide more accurately.

Food wise, I only had the French fries, but they were darn good!
