TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE on Saturday I had the most unprofessional and rudest bartender. I don’t know what her problem was but she basically kicked my friend and I out for asking for a salsa song. No one else was in there and we were very polite. People like her don’t belong in the hospitality industry. Will never be back and will make sure my network knows of this terrible experience. Carnitas tacos were half fat, no flavor, and our table of 2 somehow led to 20% tip automatically being added to the bill. AVOID.

Food was mediocre but fine enough. Dined in and they have suggested tip at the bottom but they include the tip in the bill anyway. So when I left an additional tip only to find out later I tipped 40% instead of 20% I was scammed. I paid on Venmo and they have a suggested tip on Venmo as well. Food not good enough to come back but this scam behaviour deserves to be penalised with a review. They know what they’re doing.

My water had a piece of plastic in it that I swallowed. Had to go to ER to have it removed. Will not be coming back.

The food was great, but the payment situation was frustrating and disappointing. Their website says they accept Apple Pay (Traveled to get there with my daughter and was expecting to pay using Apple Pay as it says online) I was shocked when a sign near the window said CASH ONLY but I went in to truly confirm it. When I first sat down and spoke with the waitress she told me/confirmed they PREFFERED CASH but did in face ACCEPT Apple Pay (she even confirmed it twice). But when it came time to pay, another waitress said they only take cash…. Very sketchy. I told her the previous waitress confirmed that they accept Apple Pay but preferred cash . She said well it says cash only on the menu….. I didn’t receive an actual menu just scanned the QR code and it doesn’t state that. Then she Proceeds to tell me they take Venmo… and finally, they accepted my card. To be honest she could of been a bit nicer as well since it’s their error. Luckily, I found my debit card after searching my purse 😩 but the whole thing felt weird, uncomfortable, and that was a bit embarrassing. I went in with the intentions of using my Apple Pay for a nice dinner with my daughter. They really need to fix the info on their website and if it is truly cash only make it very known…… they do ACCEPT card but hide it!!!!
Thanks for the response, I Appriciate it. I didn’t see any indication “cash only” on the website, Instagram or on Google. Upon arriving it is persistent that it’s “cash only” I’ve seen costumers being turned away because they had card while I was there. Again the food was GOOD but the waitresses/servers should be transparent to costumers and tell them card are accepted besides Apple Pay NOT just cash.

Cute local spot, I really like the chilaquiles and margaritas. I come frequently since I live in the area but almost every time I come there is new staff. The blonde female bartender taking care of my friend and I last thursday seemed uninterested in serving us since her friend was at the bar she ignored us for a while. We ordered two margs and then asked for water and the check. She misheard us since she was barely paying attention and made two more cocktails. When we clarified that's not what we were asking for she said we could just have them, then proceed to charge us for all 4 drinks and put automatic 20% gratuity. I want to keep coming back and supporting this place but there seems to be a real hospitality issue here and with two other mexican places on the block I would rather get my margs in a more friendly environment.

This was my go to place for nachos before covid and I finally managed to go back, happy to say nothings changed. Their steak nachos are probably my death-row meal. Get them, that’s all.
