Would call this a hidden gem - not too popular, but not dead. The vibes are right - they use a lot of small lamps to set the mood. There's a cool Japanese theme around the place. Lots of things to look at. Love the disco ball. The music is mellow with a bouncy beat (or at least the night I went). Listen to More Than A Woman by the BeeGees - and that was the music vibe. Food places are near by if you need a late night bite.
Came on a Sunday night and there was a nice crowd and a DJ. It’s nice to know night life lives on even on a “school night”. I loved the Japanese take on classic cocktails like the shiso marg. Great music and nice backyard to chill in when it gets crowded inside.

This little bar is a gem. It's too clean to call a dive bar, but it has the lack of pretension you look for in a dive bar. It is a place to drink with a friend. Not a "see and be seen" place and I mean that as a compliment.
