Was craving tamales, and Mexiana came up on my search on my walk home. Service was patient while I perused the menu, ordered for takeout, food came out pretty quickly. The tamales roja were very flavorful, had the perfect amount of kick — if there was more cheese, these would be perfect!! 2 tamales filled me up. My partner had the chicken enchiladas with green sauce, and he raved about them. He’s much harder to please coming from his Tex-mex repertoire, so we are thrilled to have this be our new spot. Affordable and great portions!

Saw on their outside menu that they have tamales! …I LOVE Tamales!Went in to order Four tamales ?The lady went to pack them, returned shortly to inform me there was only One tamale left! ONE?! ? I said ok, let me buy the One…Opened it outside,… mouth watered when I smelled the steamed masa… carefully unwrapped the corn husk, bit into the treasure inside… mmmm! Delicioso! I may ‘Need’ to return… even without a local appointment! ?? ?

SO REFRESHING TO FIND SOME GOOD MEXICAN FOOD IN NY! Their tamales are some of the best I've ever had and the staff is really kind and sweet. Seating is available indoors as well! 10/10 all around!!! Been back multiple times and would definitely return!

Horrible asked for regular beef taco got steak asked for cheese no cheese it's basically like they have me what they wanted don't recommend them if your craving tacos try the burrito spot on smith and 9th 100% better!!

I really would like this place to last because they always seem empty but their food is really good! I’ve had the agua frescas, the flan, and the breakfast burrito and they were all solid. Reminds of of a favorite spot back home in Texas. Want to try their tamales next… please give them a chance!
