Food was delicious and the atmosphere was tiny for a wedding but had a huge outdoor area which was very pretty for a fall wedding.

My friends and I visited last week for a pre-birthday brunch on Sunday. The restaurant had pretty much open seats and we were seated right away. My friends got the popular items in the menu, the pancakes and the french toast. I wanted something with more protein and got the Salmon panini which was super dry and 2/3 of the panini was just bread. The dish had a mountain of arugula in the side. I personally dislike arugula so if it’s not your thing ask them to replace it with some other veggie. I would say the food was pretty standard nothing extravagant therefore overpriced items. If you visit, get the popular items on the menu!

This place outperforms all competition. The flavors were memorable. I plan to make repeated visits to this place. Milk & Roses worked well for our social gathering. The employees created a welcoming atmosphere.

I definitely wanted to try the food but was unable to because their device used to pay was unable to scan my card when swiped. Only come with tap to pay or cash!
They now gave a reply that I didn’t have enough funds which is totally disrespectful and untrue.

One of the most cozy and gorgeous spots in Greenpoint. Beautiful yard with open air and covered seating. Beautiful bar with vintage books lining the walls for a super cool antique aesthetic. Great wine and beer selection and plenty of good noshes to choose from. Above all that is the staff particularly the waitress/ bartender who served us yesterday. Top notch customer service. Definitely coming back here.

We had our small wedding at Milk and Roses, Susanne was incredibly professional and helpful with every detail. The backyard vibe, food, and drinks were amazing. The whole experience was beyond what we wished for and we are so thankful for it!!

We just got married at Milk & Roses on Friday and let me just tell you… it was a DREAM!!! Not only is the venue stunning itself, our guests loved the warm and inviting atmosphere. The back garden made it super romantic, and versility of rooms made it fun for our guests. The food was exquisite, and the stuff was divine!! Working with Susanne made it so easy to plan for. We highly recommend anyone thinking of doing something unique and different than a typical venue, have your wedding there! You’ll never regret it and have the most romantic Brooklyn fairytale!

bad food AND bad service?! seems difficult but they managed to do it! the atmosphere is very beautiful which is the only reason i can imagine anyone is giving above 2 stars.
it took like 25 mins for us to get a server, then they took forever to get our drinks (we just got champagne and the place was dead so not sure why but whatever), then they got our drink order wrong. we asked for our app then entrees (because they asked) then they brought out the entrees and had forgotten the app. all of this could be forgiven if the food was good because sure things happen and servers get busy (it was dead so they weren’t but whatever) but the food was BAD like so bad. like raw cauliflower served as a “cauliflower steak” and super thick chunky sauce served as “caio e pepe”. and all so expensive! no no no thank you sorry
EDIT: literally who is managing this place and responding to people’s comments lol. if you’re looking to entertain yourself please read the 1 star reviews and the answers that these people are replying back. so unprofessional and insane they’re in business but honestly hilarious

Came here for my boyfriend’s birthday and it was the by far the best service we have received in the city. Our server Sasha was amazing, the outdoor garden was gorgeous, and the food was phenomenal. Will be coming back again soon!
