Food was delicious and location is great, but my waiter service received was mediocre. The waiter was distracted when we were ordering and he got rude when we asked a few questions due to a dietary restriction. The other staff was pleasant.

Incredibly small portions for the pastas. The pasta tasted fine, but for $30 per pasta, I would’ve expected it to wow me given the portion size. The leek appetizer was extremely vinegary though which was unexpected — wouldn’t recommend.

Incredible experience, the hype. And overall dining was phenomenal. And I would definitely recommend this to anybody the attention to detail and service and suggestions. Was a really added bonus to my night.

The food was absolutely perfect – if I rated only the dishes, it would be 5 stars. However, the service made me feel uncomfortable.
> (not forks and knives, only spoon) The dishes and forks were also put down quite roughly.
I and my boyfriend visited there around 8:45pm on 2nd Sep and we sat at the kitchen bar.
One of the bussers (a short woman with blonde straight hair, not our server) set our table in a way that felt careless. <
I even asked other staff and our server why the spoon was placed that way. I wonder If there is any reason that I don't know about for the culture or something but no one could explain the reason. They said they dont know why she did that. I didn't even want to touch the spoon. The lack of attention and the strange setup left me feeling disrespected. Please let me know I lf I misunderstood.
Again, the food was amazing, but service matters too – and this experience really affected how I feel about coming back.

I’ve been to Misi several times and I’m finally reviewing after my last visit as the service, pricing and food is consistently not adding up.
Now the service is usually pretty slow, but this last time it was truly hard to enjoy the meal when receiving two of our four dishes over the first 45 minutes we were there (bread and eggplant nonetheless), and waiting at least 25 minutes between our appetizers and our next two dishes (pasta). Normally, I would chalk this up to a restaurant being busy or short-staffed, but we came for lunch on a Sunday and the place was maybe at 60% capacity. To make things more annoying, our waiter didn’t even stop by once during the insufferable wait to at least ask if we wanted another drink or even give a heads up or sorry that the food is taking a while. So much time went by between courses that we were no longer hungry after our appetizers, and then our two pasta dishes showed up and we could barely eat them. You’d think we’d instantly forget about the wait after biting into some nice pasta, but they were definitely not worth the wait. Quite mediocre actually. And btw, they’re charging $30 for a basic linguine with no meat.
Misi isn’t offering an experience or cuisine that is worth $140 for four dishes and a drink and I definitely left feeling disappointed, unsatisfied and frankly a little pissed off.

The best Italian restaurant I've ever been to, especially considering that I'm not a big fan of pasta, is Misi. Their freshly made pasta is absolutely delicious. My favorites included the whipped ricotta toast and the gnocchi with pork sausage. I must say, the pistachio gelato was the best I've ever tasted in my life! The olive oil gelato was equally impressive, a bold flavor that was great. The staff were very friendly, and I look forward to visiting again!

Solo Sunday lunch - I sat at the kitchen counter and it was great. You get to see how they make all the dishes. The charred marinated peppers (amazing) and whipped ricotta crostini were really really good. It’s so creamy, but not heavy. And the peppers were beyond delicious. I also had the corzetti, which was refreshing and bright. Service wasn’t the best but still good enough for an easy Sunday lunch.

Pro tip: keep it simple.
We had dinner here at the counter overlooking the kitchen movements. Food was nothing extraordinary. Service was not as friendly. Kitchen staff looked stressed.

Outstanding grilled Zucchini, charred marinated peppers and fettuccine with buffalo butter. Fun sitting at the kitchen counter to watch them cook all the great food!
