I used to love this place and its still usually great if the owner/manager is there but lately I go and the rest if the staff isn't as great at making drinks, like the last one I had the milk was burnt and I had a really strange interaction where the staff thought I didn't understand what I was ordering and tried to explain it to me totally unprompted. Anyway, I'll probably just skip this spot unless I see the manager working.
Bagel had a hair in it and they forgot the cream cheese. We went back and asked them to put cream cheese on it. They offered to remake the bagel which is nice but then they gave us rotten avocado on the new one. They were probably just waiting to get rid of that black avocado. Kind of disappointing, we go here frequently and it’s usually great.
Best coffee, best owner, best baristas, best prices, best storefront stickers. The coffee is fantastic but I would go there even if it sucked because the owner and every single person who works there are so lovely.
