This was my first visit, and it will likely be my last. I had mentally prepared for real barbecue—where the sauce simmers on the grill and marinates into the meat. Unfortunately, that wasn't an option here. I don't eat pork, and they were out of all beef options, so I went with the chicken. The chicken was simply grilled, and when I used the sauce on the table to dip it for the barbecue flavor I was craving, I was left disappointed. Now, I'm on the hunt for a true barbecue spot
Excellent & Friendly service. Brisket was good if a bit dry. Mac & cheese is good but should have been hot, not warm. Good margaritas. Would recommend chopped brisket and mac & cheese.
I freakin LOVE the pastrami short rib!!!

My girlfriend and I went to Morgan's for an end of summer date night and it was everything we expected and more. We were seated immediately and our orders were taken not long after being seated. The staff was very friendly and even ran to the kitchen to make sure what we wanted to order was available. We had the three pigs platter with some brisket, Mac and cheese & collard greens on the side and we left full and happy!
Morgan's is a solid go-to for barbecue and for a comfortable bar in a terrific setting. Morgan's food on our most recent visit was good to very good, with the Chips and Queso appetizer a stand-out; not your Dallas Rotel stuff! A half-rack of ribs was plenty for the two of us; the Cole slaw was very good; the smoked kielbasa sausage was very good; we appreciated an all meat sausage. A lot of barbecues serve sausages with cheese and jalapeno stuffing. Cornbread rounds out our order. On the boozy side, we drank a Frozen Bourbon Lemonade and a Smoky Margarita. We'll go again. The prices are in-line with other barbecues and the neighborhood.
BONUS expansive outdoor dining
TIP lots of TVs for watching sports
SHOUT OUT to Emily B for terrific hospitality and attention at the bar

(4.5) Considering the reviews were a little lackluster about the food quality, I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed the fatty brisket, ribs, and kielbasa. I def see myself coming back sometime if I’m in the area

Pretty good experience during restaurant week. Wings were ok, the brisket cheesesteak sandwich was damn good, the key Lime Pie was amazing too. Only complaint is that there's no AC and it gets pretty hot.

Enjoyed restaurant week at Morgan's with friends who live in CT. Couldn't wait to try the frozen bourbon lemonade. It was delicious. The restaurant week menu for $30 was a deal! The portions were huge for one person. I brought home leftovers! Ribs, mac & cheese and some key lime pie! Our server was delightful! Our CT friends had a great meal and a fun time.
Our bartender / server was welcoming and super attentive. Impressed that he was able to handle the entire restaurant (there was a total of 6 tables). We went here for restaurant week, and enjoyed the ribs and pulled pork. Overall good ambiance and food, reasonable prices too.

My daughter and I had lunch at Morgan’s recently and it was awesome. Our waiter Eddie was so friendly, knowledgeable and just happy to be serving us. Made us feel right at home.
The food was amazing! We got chicken sandwiches, brisket nachos, onion rings, sweet tea, wine, fried Oreos and their mixed berry pie.
I would definitely come here again!

Order the kale salad. Really. It's very good and a nice compliment to all the meat. Ribs were meaty with very little fat. Mac and cheese quite delicious too. I found the brisket sliced too thick for my taste.

The 1/2 lb of fatty brisket at $25 is subpar and absurdly overpriced for the poor quality. I really wanted to like it and have tried it multiple times hoping I got a bad serving, but no luck. If you really want decent fatty brisket, make the trip to Fette Sau in Williamsburg where the fatty brisket is not only far superior but at $15 per 1/2 lb, reasonably priced.
Mid-mid, best tortilla chips. Keg was warm, margarita was watered down. Will come back when I forget I wrote this review.
