Very disappointed. The “BBQ” was actually deep-fried, not grilled. The prices on the menu don’t match what’s on the receipt, everything we ordered was about $0.25–$1.50 more per skewer than listed. Very dishonest. The place looks old and the tables weren’t very clean either. Definitely do not recommend.

Definitely not recommending this place.
First of all, the service was unbelievably slow. We waited for more than half an hour after ordering before the first dish even showed up. We asked the staff a few times and all we got was a casual “it’s coming.”
The food was just as disappointing. Their “fresh fruit smoothie” was literally just artificial flavoring — you could taste the chemical syrup right away. They did refund that one, but everything else wasn’t much better. We only ordered one skewer just to be cautious, and even that was mediocre. The noodles had this strange spice I couldn’t even identify, and not in a good way. We also got their Changle Bingfan, which again tasted like straight-up artificial flavoring.

Service was the worst I have ever encountered and that is not an understatement. The waiter asked us if we were ready to order we said a little more time and after we were done she didnt come back again and we tried to get her attention yet got nothing in response. But the food came so slow for no reason when my group of 3 didnt order that much and other people who sat down way later already got their food. I don’t know if this is some discrimination against teens or foreigners but this was unacceptable. Our food came after over a good 30 minutes and when we got the noodles there was less than 3 bites of noodles(no exaggeration) and we waited over 40 mins for the noodles so i was already pissed. I called her over and she said this is how much she usually gives and started stirring around the bowl and saying there’s so much noodles while grabbing the same strands. I told her we didnt get our rice cakes while she was there and after 10 mins it still wasnt out so we just forgot about it. She took back our noodles to the kitchen to add noodles but in reality added a barely noticeable amount. We did not want to stay in there anymore so we asked for the bill. On the menu it said the beef noodles were 7 dollars but we were charged 8.75 and were charged for the rice cakes we never got. We tried to call and wave for attention in a polite way but were shunned the entire time. I went up to her to dispute the extra charges and she took off the rice cake but tried to tell us its 8.75 for the noodles even tho it said 7 on the menu and said thats the price cuz it changed but thats no excuse since she gave no heads up. After she took off the extra she came to the table while we were getting money and was being SO aggressive and pointing to the bill while hitting her hand on mine and coming uncomfortably close on purpose and said all locations have this price. And then she kept repeating that and said next time we should just go to the other location not here so i said its ok we wont come back lol. Service was bad food was mid and totally not worth it. Save yourself a trip and go to the 58th st one for a better experience.

Racism is the worst!!! My attitude the whole time was turned off completely !!!! I didn't get to order my food!!!! I was a burden !!! I was coming to spend money
The CP is good, and the staff at the on-site takeout counter are very friendly! It also opens very early, which is suitable for me as an early eater. However, the barbecue items are not very tasty...especially the chicken wings...which makes me very disappointed..., otherwise it should be on my list...

I don’t know who is eating their barbecue. This restaurant is not called barbecue. It should be called a braised food restaurant. After braised, sprinkle some pepper noodles? You can also make it at home...the shrimp skewers are awesome, but the dried shrimps are almost the same.

Excellent service and food. Innovative and tasty dishes such as the chicken wing omlette and the sweet potato fries. I'm gonna let Mr Q cook on this one. You will not be disappointed.

If I could rate it 0 points, I would choose 0 points. Please don’t step on the bad news. She charges arbitrary fees. I ate something worth over $50 and was charged over $70. The boss lady explained that it was a tip for grilling oysters. Really? The price of oysters is directly proportional to the tip. Is there such a tip? They also overcharged me for water.
