Best Cuban sandwich I’ve ever had. This place is worth the hype and if you’re in the area you must try it. Super cheap hole in the wall spot but the food is to die for. Would give it 6 stars if I could
I just had takeout from my Cuban spot and it was spectacular! The guava chews empanada was a delicious combination of savory and sweet. The guava is blended into the cheese so it’s the perfect balance of flavors with each bite. I got the secret meat bowl and it’s a hearty delicious main course that’s perfect for a night at home.
We needed something quick to grab and found this spot which has a Steak Bowl that is very similar to the Venezuelan Pabellon Criollo. Rice, plantain, black beans and steak in large threads. The Venezuelan version would be shredded meat. It is really good and they give a very large serving! No place to sit down! so basically just take out really!
Incredible Cuban sandwich, don’t sleep on this place
An awesome place to grab a bite. If you ask for no mustard add mayonnaise however I will curse your family. Stopping here is a solid life choice.
Quick, cheap, and delicious Cuban sandwiches. The storefront is also really charming. One of the few places nearby that uses actual Cuban bread.
Unassuming, no fuss Cuban food. Order anything on the menu because everything is delicious and flavorful! We got beef and guava+cheese empanadas, the cubano, pork rice and bean bowl, and cafe con leche. Everything was amazing and mouth-watering. Pork bowl was a bit salty but overall had amazing flavor.
Not sure what a traditional Cuban sandwich is supposed taste like but the fantasy I had in my head became a reality at first bit. If your looking for 100% delicious Cuban sandwich definitely check this spot out. Also the cafecito was wonderful, was like NOS of coffee and flavor, OG Fast and Furious style. Highly recommend!P.S. Also love that they were rocking out to some Underoath
Go nuts - order anything that sounds good because it is! We got into Brooklyn just in time to get dinner: beef empanadas, yuca fries, pork rice bowl and the Frita (Cuban burger). Flavors are on point and that burger was something special! Café con leches were legit - definitely don’t miss out on this place.Seating is VERY limited. Takeaway is your best plan unless you catch this on a lull like we did: there are 2 bar-height, narrow tables with 2 stools each and no space for extras to stand. Plan to pick up and go.Sadly, they haven’t been able to get their meat supply for chicharrón so we missed out on that one - we will be back to try again when we visit NYC again.

Turgid beans, pummeled chickens
This place makes the Cuban sandwiches I got in Miami look like they came from the grocery store! Definitely worth a goosey gander
The people here are so friendly! When I ordered pickup there wasn't pork in my Oink Oink Babe, and when I called they sped over another one within 15 minutes, on the house. We had the Oink Oink, the Boss, and a side of sweet plantains - all of which were ?
Place is cool,I had a fish with rice and beans in a bowl, wasn’t the best honestly I expected way better for the price and location, fish was extremely salty but other stuff in the menu are not that bad honestly but my fish bowl sucked, not worth for the price very small portionCame back had me a Cuban sandwich and it was surprisingly really good, I was shocked on how good it was!!!
Hands/fins down the best Cuban sandwich I’ve had in NYC, and maybe ever. The to go bag said “the boss” idk if that’s different from regular Cuban, but it was INCREDIBLE. The beef empanadas were also delicious, but I completely forgot about them when I realized how mouthwatering-ly amazing the Cuban was.I will be returning tomorrow and the day after that and again and again. GO HERE IMMEDIATELY.
