Love Nami Nori and decided to spend Valentine's Day here with my husband. The food was outstanding as always but the service was absolutely terrible. Especially considering it was a special evening, the waiter's complete lack of care was really disappointing and certainly dampened the mood. He never once greeted us, asked how we were, and would just come over and stare at us and say “are you ready?” He never asked if we wanted to order more drinks. When I was listing the hand rolls I would like in my set (you pick 5), he got extremely frustrated because he missed some of them and was extremely rude and visibly annoyed when asking me to repeat them even though that's how most people order the rolls there. It was unfortunate that he was so unpleasant on a nice where many people are spending time with loved ones and celebrating Valentine's Day. Really disappointed in his service and desperately hope he is not my server next time I go.

Our experience was great and we are foodies especially for good sushi. Impeccable service, sleek modern ambience, delicious temaki ( open hand rolls for which the place is known ). We also ordered appetizers. They were very tasty and creative too! Crafted drinks were perfectly balanced too. Highly recommend!

Great date nite experience. Table top service was great. Loved the food vegan and non vegan choices, and the drinks especially the Japanese lager. Def recommend it.

Great food with awesome flavors and textures, excellent wine and sake selection. The service was excellent and well orchestrated. We enjoyed our time there and will definitely go back.

Sooooo displeased. One of server ask me to choose sparkling or still water and ordered still one. But Once i received the opened water, i realized i had been scammed. While everyone else was drinking water from the standard bottle, mine is Evian bottle($10). He should have given options to us. It was very unpleasant, but the taste wasn't bad. Because of his arrogant attitude, I didn't leave a tip for the first time during my trip to the United States.

I am a frequent guest at the Nami Nori Williamsburg location, and unfortunately tonight's visit was not a positive experience for my group. I brought a new guest to the restaurant, and she did not have an enjoyable time. She was asked to move her bag even though the bar hooks was not suitable for hanging it, and later, we felt rushed out of the space. While I understand that the restaurant may need to accommodate other parties, the venue was fairly empty, and it was very cold outside. After paying for our meal, we were finishing our conversation when we were asked to collect our coats, which added to the feeling of being pushed out. In the future, it would be helpful to communicate any dining time limits at the beginning of the experience rather than at the end. As a loyal supporter of this location, this visit felt disappointing and not aligned with the standard I've come to expect and recommend to my community.

The tempura appetizer and all of the hand rolls were incredible and had the perfect amount of seasoning and wasabi. The crab dynamite roll was the best! Totally worth it.

Tempura entree was amazing. The crab dynamite hand roll was exceptional. Very attentive service and a cute environment. Only thing that was curious was the height of the sushi bar - we couldn't see them making the rolls, sadly. But I liked sitting at the bar to be served one roll at a time. Perfect pacing! Will definitely be back!
Absolute must try!! Some of the best flavors my palette has ever experienced. I have been to both locations in NYC several times and food is always consistent. The Tuna Crudo appetizer is *chefs kiss* and leaves you wanting more. The “Matcharita” was perfectly mixed and balanced. Desserts are also a must try, especially their gluten free chocolate chip cookie. This BK location is bigger and allows of slightly larger groups compared to the one in Manhattan.

Service was excellent and the ambience of the restaurant was very well planned and executed. The large window and the aesthetic interior makes it an excellent place to sit and dine. The hand rolls used high quality and fresh ingredients, and the combination of flavors on some of them were very unique! Like the caramelized onions with fresh scallops, and the yuzu zest ships leaf with fresh shrimp. The only thing is each hand roll on average was around $8-9 and some others ranging more. So if you’re hungry it would be pricey to get full.

I’ve never had a server pre-select a tip for me before, so when she handed me the device and said “just sign” I assumed this restaurant had a fixed tipping policy. But I noticed she didn’t do that with other customers. When I asked another staff member, she told me I could still change the tip even if it was already selected, and she helped me adjust it. Still, it would be better if they didn’t set a tip for customers without asking.
I don’t know if it was because I was eating alone or what… Even my friend in the U.S. hasn’t experienced that. The food was good, but the experience didn’t feel great. I don’t think I’ll be coming back to this location.
