This restaurant is a hidden gem in Bed-Stuy BK. The restaurant is very casual, and reminds me of a place I used to go to as a kid. Maybe they could update the restaurant, but I don't come here for the decor....I come for old school soul food, that's what they serve here. No fusion meals, or vegan nothing. This is Grandma's soul food kitchen.Best part was walking in, and the delicious smell of food made with love slapping me in the face.It wasn't a long wait to get my food. I had fried chicken, Mac & Cheese, and candied yams. My dessert was a delicious piece of carrot cake.I don't recommend coming here all the time, for your blood pressure/health. But coming here every once in awhile doesn't hurt. The prices aren't bad and the portions are great for what you pay.

PROS: Waffle, beans and rice, cabbage good. Good customer service. 8oz portion sizes adequate.CONS: Cockroach bait station placed in customer area in full view.-Peach cobbler, frozen in the center. Drowned in 3mm of cold watery slush at the sides and bottom so badly it was discarded untouched (photo shown after water was drained off). Had high hopes but unfortunately It takes one bad item to prevent us from repurchasing ANYTHING.

Had a nice conversation with the friendly owners who are hands on the entire process providing limited ingredient fresh food. Well worth going out of the way to, as you can go grocery shopping there for cooked sides, biscuits, and deserts. I brought home peach cobbler and had fried chicken yams and Mac n cheese, all were cooked perfectly.

Can't wait to go back. The food was amazing. The hard part was deciding what to order. You want the entire menu. Our food was so good, we order food to go. Also, get the lemon cake!

We woke up wanting biscuits and looked at Uber Eats, and Napoleon Southern Cuisine was among many other restaurants to pop up. After perusing the menu and Yelp, we needed to narrow down our order lol. Because of the mixed reviews, we kept it simple... honey bbq wings, shrimp, and BISCUITS. The wings are/were delicious with a nice crisp on the skin and not overly saucy. The sauce is not overly sweet and absolutely finger-licking! Same goes for the shrimp. The shrimp were perfectly cooked, lightly floured and succulent. The BISCUITSSSSSSSS are heavenly, light, fluffy and buttery! First bite reminded me of my beloved grandpa, who was a master chef. Until now, no other biscuit came close enough. A lot of people make these very dense and tough biscuits. Napoleon got it right! One of these days, they will see my face and a big a** smile. I intend on exploring the menu further!

Disgusting. Food arrived cold, undercooked and there was a hair in my grits. Talk about disturbing. Like a nose hair or something. Yuck. I asked for two things of syrup and they didn't even do that, so the three pancakes would've been dry too. Didn't even eat my food after mixing the grits and seeing the hair. I'm never ordering from here again. Should not be called southern cuisine. More like sad cuisine. Edit; after getting a response from the owner being nasty, I'm glad I'm not supporting this business. I'm black and I shop black owned, and support my black community so don't go there. It's my fault that I ran out of syrup and decided to order pancakes before I made the trip to the store? Your nasty attitude is what's pushing away YOUR OWN COMMUNITY. and no I didn't put a hair in my grits, it was in there. What happened to integrity? You're mad that I didn't have a good experience. Boo hoo. Be better instead of bashing customers who had a bad experience. And no this shouldn't be called southern cuisine, I grew up in the south and you don't even have southern hospitality as a business OWNER. Once again, disgusting. Good riddance.

Always a treat to grab food from Napoleon's. We have long been fans and enjoy the warm, welcoming atmosphere and friendly service. Food is tasty with generous portions to share.

The chicken and waffles were really good! I recommend stopping by here.

They make a mean meatloaf, and the potato salad and mac and cheese are addictive. Quick delivery as well!

Ive walked past this place a ton of times and decided to pop in for a piece of cake. I was recommended the lemon cake(which is my favorite) and I’m sad it say I was really disappointed. The cake itself was very good, but the icing/frosting had the strangest chemical flavor. I only had a few bites and had to toss it. I want to give them another shot!

What allowed me to give the two stars was the friend chicken and the potato salad. Everything else was a fail. The turkey wings was dry, salty with a hit of old, the rice and gravy had no flavor, the greens just tasted bitter, mac and cheese tasted like macaroni and imitation cheese and the banana pudding tasted like it was hanging around, smh.

While this place didn't have the nicest decor, The fried chicken I had at this place 2 years ago was juicy, mouth watering, and my side of rice was enjoyable as well.
