The Blaze Gourmet, Burger-Gyro-Vegan Kofteh

Their price is too high , my friend took me here and I got 2 eggplant dolma with rice and tripe soup with ayran , I paid $24 for small portion rice and 2 smallest eggplant dolma ! Soup was smelling ! I don’t recommend it

Ordered Vegan Kofteh and it’s cold, looked so disgusting almost not cooked, I had to throw it away and I hate to do that to any food. Other dish presentation was terrible and portion of delivery was very small compared to the price paid.

We had Absolutely amazing Lamb Gyros.
The burgers looked great too, I’ll get a burger the next time. We also had their homemade Rice pudding, it was the best I EVER had.
The service was exceptional.

The blaze is a unique I tried the Royal burger with fries amazing bread, toasted everything’s fresh. You get to the option of sitting outside or inside I’m picky about my burger and when I say this burger is A1 come check them out you won’t regret it.

Got 4 orders, the platters had no rice in them…. The plate was half empty with lots of salad and fries were not fresh at all extremely soggy! First time trying this restaurant will never try it again. $70 just to get half a plate of what I ordered? Rice were pressed down to make it look a lot but it was nothing in there. Paid and didn’t even give any sauces with it….. till asked for it. Never again will i come here again nor recommend it, it’s a waste of money and food in a very busy environment.

Delightful food and beautiful service. Had lamb gyro platter, lamb gyro wrap and Herbed Chickpea to go. All of them were yummy and cooked into perfection. Reasonable price and HUGE portions. There is an open window to kitchen access where you can watch how your food is getting prepared. The chef prepares food with attention and love NOT like just throws everything inside. Just come and try their food, you will not disappoint. Do I recommend this place? Absolutely YES. Will I come back again? Definitely, will be one of my go to places now.

Any lamb gyro I’ve had from any food truck/cart in NY in past 2 decades was much better. Meat was tasteless, overcooked and dry.
Portion is large, however I asked to add $5 worth of lamb and when I got home I was very disappointed (picture attached).
Do not recommend.

If you want to get the authentic Turkish style food and beverage, don’t hesitate about this place. Ask for vegan kofte or cikofte because most other Turkish places in NY make it spicier! Definitely say you want pomegranate sauce on the cikofte wrap as it brings flavor into it. Their tea brings you to Istanbul streets vibe with the thick scent.
