The personal is so rude, seems like they are bothered by customers.

Bad and overpriced
I've been at the hotel for events a few times now. The breakfast sandwiches and breakfast toasts are among my favorites.I once had a thirst-quenching watermelon salad, as well as a Furman Fields bowl that was quite fresh and awesome.I've eaten inside, outside, and upstairs where the view is breathtaking. I must admit though that the inconsistencies in coffee preparation are quite disturbing. I ask for a cappuccino and it is almost always too strong. On the occasions when I ask for a latte, there is always too much milk. On the days when I seriously need coffee with my meal, I unfortunately skip Neighbors.

I went inside to buy an iced coffee this Sunday at 3PM. It was a busy day but I got a simple order - one iced coffee, one pourover. I waited 10 minutes for the coffee and then when I asked for a straw was told “we don’t have any , all sold out” by the female barista. I was still waiting at the counter as my partner got a pourover, where a man then asked for a straw and the male barista walked into the back room to get it for him. The attitude I received when asking for a straw at a coffee shop was so off putting, I would never recommend this place. Like why would you not have a straw at a coffee shop? Why did I pay $8 for a coffee I can’t even drink with a straw? After 20 minutes waiting for coffee, I walked out upset, nearly in tears from how I was treated.

It was a bit tricky to find at first and I didn’t get a chance to try the food here, but it’s a really nice, sunny, and green space to sit and enjoy a beverage or work for a while.

Worst coffee I’ve ever had in my life. Ordered a hot chocolate, instead was cold and tasteless. Stopped drinking it at the first sip. Can’t comprehend how one opens a coffee shop when they have no clue how to prepare a standard cup of coffee. Please don’t waste your time and money
A great place to get away from the busy city and enjoy a cup of coffee. Beautiful atmosphere. Make sure to get the Nutella banana bread- I ate it before I got a pic but it was a huge slice and probably the best banana bread I’ve ever had.

Beautiful place inside a luxury hotel but their matcha latte was so milky that i couldn't feel a proper matcha taste. Also it felt like they added some sweetener or the milk was sweat, which I did not ask for. The croissant was good though. The place is on expensive side.If you want to hang out for a while, grab a drink and sit with it in the spacious lobby, which has such a nice eco vibe.

1 Hotel's "house cafe" is currently installed in several other 1 Hotels, and this one in Brooklyn Bridge is the starting store in the series. The name of the store "Neighbors" comes from the fact that many ingredients or meal items are taken from local stores in Brooklyn. Such support of local products is worthy of recognition. The meal I tasted this time far exceeded my original expectations. The wrapped pie crust I ordered had the aroma of pancakes, and the scrambled eggs in the filling were extremely sweet and smooth. It was an excellent match with bacon (originally it was paired with bacon). Chorizo (but I ran out of it, so I had to replace it with bacon but perhaps even better!), and the coffee from the shop is also of good quality. Overall, I feel that staying in the hotel is the right choice for breakfast. I recommend that guests of 1 Hotel consider giving it a try.

Pastry sold out at 9am and we were told that that is normal as mornings were always busy. Don’t understand why then they don’t order/stock more then. Kids disappointed.
Never get the strawberry and ricotta toast. It was $14. The photo speaks for

Stayed a few days at the 1 hotel and stopped in a couple of times for our morning coffee. Morning cafe staff were unfriendly and we waited 30 minutes for our food (toast and a bagel) despite being one of two couples in the entire cafe. A disappointing experience to say the least.
