Great food, nice service! Much better alternative to Kellog’s diner without all the Instagram hype!
Haven't had a burger like that since grade school.

Super cute bar.
I had the wings and they were really delicious. They are smoked in Cherry wood, so they have a very good flavor, but they are NOT breaded or crispy fyi.

Ordered a $12 beer and the bartender charged me $16, "gratuity included." Never had a bar dictate a $4 tip for a beer before...
Good drink and nice outdoor seating.
Would have loved to have ordered some food and another beer but the bartender does not pay any attention to guests seated at the bar. Would not recommend for those looking to sit at a bar and grab a drink/bite.

The service was great and the atmosphere was cute, if not a little cramped, but the food was beyond mediocre. The deviled eggs had no spice, and the burnt ends sandwich tasted more like quickly shredded pulled pork they just seared some brown sugar around very quickly. The texture was rough and the sweetness was claggy and glaring. The Texas "toast" they served it on was also so poorly toasted, I wouldn't have known it touched heat had there not been little black burn streaks.... the fries were also like... low grade diner fries? I didn't bother eating them after the first few. They were starchy and bland.
Tip your waiters, they're doing great there, but the chef isn't proving the North can do southern food anytime soon.

Wings ok. Got the buffalo smoked wings. Not spicy but nicely smoked. Expected a little more zing

Highly recommend everything about Northern Bell. The bar service and food are incredible. We hosted a 40+ people party on their back patio. Danielle was super helpful and communicative during the planning process and working out any details. During the party, Felix patiently managed the crowd with drink orders and food coming out. Thank you so much, it was a night to remember!

I'm from Atlanta, so I'm discerning about my chicken wings. After three years of searching, I finally found my endgame wing spot in NYC.
1. Smoked wings that are even crispier than fried.
2. Noticeably smoky flavor
3. No bullsh!t, genuinely hot sauces that still taste great
4. Fair prices, big wings
My only recommendation to the owner - offer different wing counts. I'd love to get 20 and split with two sauces. A 20 wing + pitcher of beer combo would bring me in weekly

Very good -- not your basic bar menu. Really good food with original twists...drums and flats are made with a delish rub! (tip: select your sauce and ask for it on the side). The burgers are also great as is the mac and cheese. Friendly staff too!

wings were great and nba playoffs were fun but the white lady serving us disliked us, for not much reason.
Didn’t take our order or visit us, took mad long to clear our table, and made us stand up and move from our table to “make room” for other parties … even though couples of 2 at similar tables nearby were not asked to move.
None of the folks in our table were white compared to the rest of the bar so we are alleging racism lol
