yall. i almost never leave reviews but i have to warn whoever sees this. if you are from the deep south you will NOT enjoy this!! this is some nasty northerner's idea of 'southern' food. from best to worst i had: - mac and cheese: pretty good actually. no topping so like why even bake it and the cheese was more of clumpy melted cheese than a cheese sauce. but the flavor was good. it was definitely giving cafeteria mac. not mad at it. - fries: completely bland and boring but tbh that's par for the course even in the south. so can't neg it here - cornbread: it's a giant piece of sweet, cakey cornbread. very northern jiffy muffin, not southern savory cornbread. but i recognize that sweet cornbread has its place! especially with a salty brine like in greens or ham soup. not for me tho. if i wanted desert i'd order desert. but BY FAR the worst offender was the fried chicken sandwich. it looked fine and well seasoned but from the first bite i was puzzled. the breading had the aftertaste of hush puppies and it had a very unpleasant texture about it. the skin came right off the rest of the chicken (not a good thing) and there was a slimy layer between the skin and the meat. it took a second bite to confirm my suspicions: THEY ARE FRYING THIS CHICKEN IN OLD FISH GREASE!!!!! just diabolical. AND the season was a complete farce, it was tasteless. evil, evil work. only reason they get a second star from me is i didn't HATE the sides. but wow. i'm still a bit nauseas thinking about it the next day.

I love this place ! Everything is always good ! They have a customer for life ! The environment is nice as well but can be packed because the food is so good !! The staff is always friendly and will inform you and ask questions to make sure you understand what you are ordering ! Try this place out trust me you wont regret it !

I almost want to gatekeep Peaches that's how much I love this place !! Typically I opt in for the burger or the catfish with grits, and gobble it up every time with no breathing breaks in-between bites!! I love it here !! The food is consistently amazing. Everything I've ever had here was a hit. I've been to the one on Lewis, it was cool but this location is definitely my favorite. Customer service is great every-time with no complaints. If you needed a sign to get you through the door, here it is!!

It pains me to write this review. The quality of the food seems to have declined. The B grade, which I was unaware of prior to ordering, did not inspire confidence. Without going into specifics, I was very disappointed with the meal.

This spot is so cute - it's a homey vibe and the employees are nice. The food was good - the difference between the hot and extra hot is huge, I would recommend asking for the extra hot dry rub on the side so you could try it, if you're interested. I found the shrimp to be tastier than the chicken. The cornbread was okay - a little overcooked for my taste. We didn't try the Mac and cheese or French fries but would definitely come back and get the shrimp.

our server dallas M almost got literally every order wrong at our table. it was impressive actually. 3 orders, 2 drinks and then overcharged us via giving us the wrong bill. genuinely some of the worst service ive seen in a long time. never coming back to this peaches.
