We came here for drinks on Halloween and were so well taken care of by the staff. Truly amazing service and cocktails. Excellent service and well-curated vibe. We will be back.

Exquisite. Ben Hopkins - who runs the drink program, has created an unbelievable cocktail & drink program - there really is something for everyone including great N/A options. I’d say it’s worth it just for drinks alone, however, the food was also UNREAL. A celebration of low country cooking reimagined, with the nostalgia of a French bistro, with flavors and spices from around the world. Our server Jodi was not only excellent and attentive, she was fun, and spoke about the food like a chef. Even helped us course our meal so certain flavors wouldn’t mix. It was above and beyond.
5 stars. 10 stars. Just excellent. Go to Pitt’s. And thank you Ben!

All the food we had was delicious, though it really is a bit expensive considering the portion sizes. Unfortunately when we arrived our waiter told us the pancake souffle wasn't available which was one of the main reasons I wanted to come in the first place - and on a Sunday no less. They also didn't have cornbread available despite it being on the menu.
Lastly, when we went to pay by card we also asked for change for a bill (to leave tip in cash) but were told change wouldn't be possible because they don't keep a cash box... I wonder if this means they dont accept cash as payment at all or if you have to have exact change. If the former, it's illegal (and frankly classist) to not take cash at a restaurant. If the latter, it's something that should be mentioned at the start of the meal - not everyone has a credit card!
Absolutely perfect evening - beautiful and inclusive staff, the best food. Sit at the bar and have a wonderful evening.

We had the best experience at Pitt’s. Food and drinks were amazing and super warm service! We loved how they had solutions for wobbly tables! Will 100% come back here to try more things on the menu.

Restaurantji Recommends
Lived in Brooklyn for about five years and have been to a decent number of restaurants in all five boroughs. This is one of the best meals I’ve had in the entire city. The cocktails are excellent and the bartenders were friendly, funny, and great to talk to. The food has a southern-Carolinas influence. Delicious comfort food with a cozy Brooklyn vibe and perfect portions. Definitely order the soufflé. 10/10 recommend to anyone.

I was told that I had to come here for the soufflé. I don’t like soufflé, I said. I was told that didn’t matter: this was the soufflé that could change me. I also said that Redhook was kinda far to go for just a soufflé. I was told this soufflé was more than worth it. And it was. This was an exceptional soufflé experience: like eating the essence of a hot, syrupy pancake in cloud form. I think there’s a little salt lightly sprinkled on the top, which is a delicious balance to the sweetness: I love a good salty-sweet combo. The mussels were good, nice atmosphere and kind servers. But we were pretty much there for the soufflé.

Love love love. I just had my birthday dinner here and our waitress was absolutely so sweet. She really made sure we were taken care of and was the absolute best. I will be coming back
PS - the soufflé is going to haunt my dreams. It was so good.

Cute place with a great vibe, but the food and service were a big letdown. Cocktails came together with the mains, we sat there for almost an hour waiting for our first (and last) round of drinks to arrive! One side arrived late after we had already finished our entree, and the fries were so salty they were inedible. Staff seemed overwhelmed, and we ended up canceling dessert. They took it off the bill, but overall a very disappointing experience — I wouldn’t go back! Most of the dishes were very heavy too, didn’t feel good afterwards.
