Pretty good food, great pancakes but a little overpriced. Just confused why there was multiple options for milk labeled “cow” even though they advertise that they’re 100% vegan? Not sure if I read it wrong but something to be aware of!

I happened to be back in the neighborhood where I lived many years ago. I wanted to grab some breakfast and wasn’t expecting much, but was really blown away. The planted rancheros was delicious and so was the ginger lemonade. Now I’ll come back just for Planted!

The service was appallingly awful, a simple order at a time when there where very few customers took an hour to be served, after I repeatedly reminded the staff of the order. This is one of those places where you tip first, and the server told me that he could not reimburse my tip. And the food was hardly worth the wait.

This place is cute and the staff is super nice but the cappuccino was way too bitter (could be over extracted) and the milk wasn’t frothed well. I don’t see myself returning unfortunately.

Planted has become a neighborhood stalwart. We were walking around the other day looking for a place to sit and relax with a drink and couldn’t find any place that wasn’t a chain or a hole in the wall. Then we said, Duh, Planted! Such a great vibe with plants lining the walls, cool, nice-smelling air, always a seat and a table, a nice bathroom, and tons of great drink options. This time we got a cold brew and a matcha latte—both were great. The food is really delicious and healthy, too. And now they have beer on tap. I’m definitely going to come back for a pint or a glass of wine.
Stopped into Planted for a late lunch on a rainy afternoon and the cozy vibes inside were just what we needed. Ordered the Jackfruit tacos and while I’m still iffy about the texture of Jackfruit, the flavor was amazing, as were the fresh toppings and the refreshing cilantro sauce. We also got the roasted zucchini panini, but wasn’t so impressed by that one. The good music and quiet environment was really nice though. And they have a Sauna, Cold Plunge and Hot Tub to rent in the backyard?!?! Weird. But kinda cool!

We had: the presto pesto panini, the jackfruit tacos and a rose matcha latte with the homemade cashew milk.
Presto pesto panini - really fresh! I was worried it would be overly buttery or oily, but to my surprise it was refreshing! Also quite small for a panini but it came with homemade sweet potato chips which were really good.
Jackfruit tacos - really took the gold! Their jackfruit was fresh, definitely not packaged. It really had a good consistency and the sauce was deliiiiicious. Paired with avocado and pickled red onions. Definitely getting these again.
Rose matcha latte w cashew milk - loved the homemade cashew milk, so good and so creamy! A little disappointed on the rose and matcha… matcha came out more pastel green (not great) and very minimal flavor overall except for the milk.
The vibe was reallllllly chill. Very quiet. Lots of plants, crystals and sage for purchase. In the backyard, a sauna, cold plunge and hot tub for membership and private use which we thought was really unique.
Overall enjoyed the space. Warm comforting food in a very relaxing environment.

Hot the ginger tea and the vegetable soup which was super delicious and helped my soar throat. Great vibe and not that packed.
