I've been a member for years and can't respect this place enough. Cheap beers and good charcoal grill food. Come for the curiosity, stay because you don't want to leave.
An authentic Brooklyn gem. If Gowanas had a yacht club, this would def be it! Big LOLFun dive bar. Beer is cheap. It’s also acceptably drinkable. Lots of seating, but it’s all outside. Try to use the restroom before you go to the yacht club ?

As an non-resident, GYC is a MANDATORY, multi-time visit whenever in New York/Brooklyn. Perfect outdoor neighborhood bar with great music and low-key television for sports if need be. Jealous of the nearby residents who have GYC in their backyard.
