My partner and I come to this place all the time for late night after dinner dessert. It is a lovely place with solid drinks and food. However we got there just before 11pm and the guy was already flipping the sign to close even though their hours said they were open until 12am. Last call for food was at 11pm. By 11:20, they turned the music off and was putting chairs on top of tables around us despite multiple groups still sitting in the area. We are always conscious of closing...

However, adding 18% tip upfront for a party of two was a little too cheeky when there are no signs posted. A poor choice of business etiquettes. And yes I have been there before at least 5 times and they probably started doing in the last year or two.
