I dined at Puertas last night and had a lovely time. It is one of the few upscale Latin fusion restaurants in Bay Ridge, and it absolutely deserves our support.

The restaurant, including the bathroom, was clean and sanitary, and I personally observed the staff busily cleaning and clearing tables and common areas. No one lazed about; everyone kept busy.

I was eager to try the Empanadas de Carne, as they were a twist on your ordinary empanada....

Have eaten here before and loved the food. I bought a gift card for some family members as a Christmas present this week. Well, they let me know today that in a storm, they went above and beyond to not only cook a specialty item but to also deliver it. You have customers for life! And let that be a lesson to others that acts of kindness go a long way!

The Food was Delicious very authentic!
Drinks were very good strong in a good way! Lol service was fast and friendly.
Beautiful atmosphere really captures the feel of puerto Rico.
I ordered the skirt steak with the mashed potatoes and chimichurri sauce on top
My partner ordered fried pork chop with arroz con gandules. Both very flavorful!
