It's a small space. And it's quiet. The staff and service are efficient but friendly. Able to explain dishes in your terms, and doing so with a pleasant cadence. The only issue with this place, is that you don't feel any sort of group vibe, no one speaks to their neighbours, etc.
Food is great, portions are small but exquisite. And y'all need to eat smaller portions. Service is great, they allow you to enjoy your dish, but the next one is there before you start to wonder.
It's BYOB but there is a wine store next door, that keeps a selection in their fridge.

What a wonderful restaurant! Great atmosphere and service. Plus the food was absolutely delicious. We were a group of six and we ordered basically everything on the menu so we could share. Honestly I couldn’t say anything which dish I liked the most because they were all outstanding.

Great food. The menu is short, but everything stands out. There is a clear preference for complex spice mixes on relatively simple bases. Plenty of starch, but also some vegetables and protein. I loved the texture and flavor of the moi moi and the yam. The octopus was a bit chewy.

A little disappointing, probably a victim of all the hype. Felt pretentious in a performative way. Food was fair, though four of us ate what amounted to food for two, without drinks, and it reached 270. Will say they repeated the same (tasty) sauce across almost all the dishes, which always seems a little lazy and reductive.

This place was really cute and intimate. We had the suya charred octopus, the bread ati obe mushroom, the Guinea fowl and jollof rice.
To start, we tried the zobo ati ginger drink. It didn’t have much flavor and needed more ginger and maybe some carbonated water to add to it.
The bread was amazing - I could eat that everyday.
The charred octopus was really overcooked -good flavor but was tough an rubbery
The guinea fowl was flavorful and delicious.
Lastly the jollof rice was good, but was lacking salt.
Overall I enjoyed it and hope they continue to work on making sure the seasoning and cook on the food is consistent. I’ll be back !

?Radio Kwara?
2000. two thousand dollars is what this restaurant owes me. Ayo Balogun, who hired me, did not show his face to pay me the last two weeks I worked. I was laid off without notice and without pay for the last two weeks. A very good place but bad employers. They just want to look good to their customers without worrying about their employees.

Amazing food: we tried the bread and beef, goat pepper soup, suya octopus and pounded yam. Everything was a 10/10. Elevated small plates made to share.
Wonderful hosts who answered all questions we were unfamiliar in the menu about.
Cozy, intimate atmosphere with beautiful art and jazzy African instrumentals in the background.
Please note it’s BYOB and there’s a wonderful wine bar adjacent to the restaurant!

The place has a great atmosphere and the food is amazing! BYOB is easy with the wine store next door.
The only thing I would change is the fact that that really great red sauce is used in too many dishes. It is great though so definitely keep it in some.
