On 4/13/24 I brought a chicken roti and 2 orders of fish cakes. The Chicken Roti was extremely salty, and the fish cakes were undercooked.

How have I missed this? I’m on this block every week but never tried this Carribean kitchen. Dropped in yesterday because I was in the mood for a hot Jamaican lunch. I ordered the curry goat, because I still haven’t tried cooking this at home. Guys, simply delicious! The steamed veg and pigeon peas and rice, also delish! The place is small and has like 3 places to sit (be warned) but I had myself a lovely time. Adding to my catering options and delivery list. It’s very mom and pop,sales me feel like they were here years ago when my relatives lived locally and from the other patrons, you know they are locally loved! I felt like I had stopped by my favorite aunt’s home and she just so happened to have just cooked curry goat. Down the the napkins, it all gave home cooked (cooked with love) vibes. Will def be back! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Had the stew chicken and it was F&&$ING DELICIOUS. My friend got curry goat and it was also amazing. I think the stew chicken actually was better tho. Also it was a big portion of food (super flavorful and tender meat, rice and beans, cabbage) but none of us felt bad after eating it. The atmosphere was super local not trying to impress. Not enough space really to comfortably sit down. It was almost like walking into someone's home kitchen with a couple nice old guys watching tv. We loved it. As long as you know what to expect you'll be pleased.

I think this is my new lunch spot. Just had the curried chicken and it was so good. Fresh ingredients, tender meat, crunchy vegetables: really hit the spot. Shout out to the lady working there, who was very friendly and let me pay by zelle.

I am a trinidadian and I spent a short afternoon here with my closest friend for a quick corn beef Bun... yes that's when I reminded of the flavors of the island and I felt compelled to write a review.PROS:-lots of talk very vocal-willing to work with you on payment options(credit , debit or even touchless) [Google & apple pay]-clean-lots of smells and won't smell the trash outside down the way.CONS:-this is runn by what appears to be a family and ... it's kinda a wait for foodI'd like to add more but I reccomend this place, makes me proud as an islander to have good food in such a diverse food area near my neighborhood .Kid-friendliness: This is a family owned family friendly place.

A small place that is easy to overlook and you would be sad that you did. The food here is outstanding; they put real effort to make sure each of their dishes is packed full of flavor / seasoning (as any self respecting Caribbean restaurant would!). The staff is very friendly and will happily engage you in conversation during free moments.There are only two things to give you a heads up on. First: Cash only so come prepared for that. And Second: Their seafood dishes are popular and can be bought out quickly so if you want to try their lobster (for example), plan that trip accordingly and maybe call in a phone order in advance!

My girl and I both had the Jamaican J*** Chicken! The place across the street was packed. It was our breakfast!! So this was nice, the people here were KIND and served us quick, it's not the most BEAUTIFUL place but the food was goooood it was great I and enjoyed the service! Seems like a local spot, but go TIP WELL. Had the leftovers for breakfast the next day and it was DANK Much love from Colorado
