Had the stew chicken and it was F&&$ING DELICIOUS. My friend got curry goat and it was also amazing. I think the stew chicken actually was better tho. Also it was a big portion of food (super flavorful and tender meat, rice and beans, cabbage) but none of us felt bad after eating it. The atmosphere was super local not trying to impress. I think this is my new lunch spot. Just had the curried chicken and it was so good. Fresh ingredients, tender meat, crunchy vegetables: really hit the spot. Shout out to the lady working there, who was very friendly and let me pay by zelle.

How have I missed this? I’m on this block every week but never tried this Carribean kitchen. Dropped in yesterday because I was in the mood for a hot Jamaican lunch.
