Even if Luis and his team didn't make some of best food in the neighborhood it would be worth going to their truck just to get some of their positive energy. But like I said, the food also rules. I haven't tried the burger but tacos, burritos and ESPECIALLY the empanadas are delicious, big and made fresh to order. And open late, which is getting annoyingly rare for Greenpoint. Go see them.

Look at this, it's a real thing of beauty! The Santana burrito is the Rey de Reyes special. They have a whole bunch of offerings like bowls and burgers but if I'm swinging by after a stroll through the park or need an easy bite between drinks, I know I'm getting this pocket of guacamole, pico de gallo, chipotle, crema, jalapeño queso, shredded cheese, Al pastor and yes FRENCH FRIES! These aren't super crispy, and nor should they be! They're the soft, fluffy potatoes that mushes and melts without a fight between blankets of mayonnaise, crema, guac and queso. In an area with your pick of food trucks and Mexican, this burrito and the surprise Southern California style burrito makes Rey de Reyes a standout. Bonus points for the fun air horn buzzer that lets you know when your food is ready, five stars!

Was in the area after hitting up a music venue/event and was looking for some grub late at night. With all the restaurants in the area closed, there was a Mexican food truck on the corner of the street called Rey de Reyes. Didn't see any reviews on Yelp so after doing a Google search, everyone on there was raving about their burritos. This truck is a mix between traditional Mexican and Cali Mex food. Decided to go with the "Santana Burrito" and I would have to say it's probably one of the best burritos I've had in the city overall! Ordered this with al pastor as my protein and was absolutely amazing! Burrito includes french fries, pico de gallo, avocado, cheese, sour cream and chipotle mayo. Full of flavor and would definitely make the trek for it again. Not sure if it's a new truck or what, but don't miss out on some good food out in BK!Wasn't able to get any good photos at night with the burrito in my hand, but got some photos in the process of them whipping up the order!

Went to get something to eat late and didnt realize this place was located in a loud crowded gay bar. I had to order from the 2 bartenders that are busy running drinks there are no servers. When i finally ordered we went to look for tables and all the tables were full most of them not even eating just chatting. Got a refund and wasted half an hour standing waiting for it. Im writing so the next person that thinks this is a food spot avoids this place because google failed to detail these things

all of my friends eat at Bistro Latino. They say it's because their tacos are great, their nachos leave you smiling, and their empanadas are crispy, tasty treats. My friends are always right

Honestly this food is bomb bomb dummy good. The empanadas are only 3 bucks and are delicious. Burrito also str8 up slaps. Pair with a margarita and call it a day.
