Look at this, it's a real thing of beauty! The Santana burrito is the Rey de Reyes special. They have a whole bunch of offerings like bowls and burgers but if I'm swinging by after a stroll through the park or need an easy bite between drinks, I know I'm getting this pocket of guacamole, pico de gallo, chipotle, crema, jalapeño queso, shredded cheese, Al pastor and yes FRENCH FRIES! Was in the area after hitting up a music venue/event and was looking for some grub late at night. With all the restaurants in the area closed, there was a Mexican food truck on the corner of the street called Rey de Reyes. Didn't see any reviews on Yelp so after doing a Google search, everyone on there was raving about their burritos. This truck is a mix between traditional Mexican and Cali Mex food. Even if Luis and his team didn't make some of best food in the neighborhood it would be worth going to their truck just to get some of their positive energy. But like I said, the food also rules. I haven't tried the burger but tacos, burritos and ESPECIALLY the empanadas are delicious, big and made fresh to order. And open late, which is getting annoyingly rare for Greenpoint. Go see them.
