I'm providing 5 stars specifically for the pasta with Sausage Parmigiana because it is simply spectacular. It's so good that I ordered it twice within a week. Unfortunately, though, the same can't be said about the chicken milanese hero. That was horrible. I trashed it because it wasn't edible. It was drenched with tomato sauce and a thin piece of undercooked breaded chicken cutlet. I won't make that mistake again.

If you’re craving a classic New York slice in Brooklyn, Roma Pizza on 7th Avenue is a fantastic spot to visit. When I stopped by around New Year in Brooklyn, the place had a lively neighborhood vibe that made the experience even better.
The aroma of freshly baked pizza hit instantly — that perfect mix of melted cheese, rich tomato sauce, and warm crust. Their slices are generous, with a thin yet sturdy base that holds the toppings beautifully. Whether you go for a simple cheese slice or something loaded with toppings, every bite feels authentic and satisfying. The crust has that ideal balance: slightly crispy on the outside and soft inside.
What makes Roma Pizza special is its simplicity. It’s not fancy, but it delivers exactly what you want — fresh, hot, and flavorful pizza served quickly. It’s the perfect place to grab a quick bite while walking around the neighborhood, especially during the festive New Year atmosphere.
Affordable, tasty, and comforting — Roma Pizza truly captures the essence of a classic Brooklyn pizza experience.

Ordered the pasta with broccoli rabe and sausage. Ordered online and it says pasta with crushed sausage and broccoli rabe in the description and no option to add sausage so assumed it was included in the $20 entree. Nope.
It came with just penne and broccoli rabe, for $20. Feel a bit ripped off and will likely not return.
Other food was ok, pasta overcooked but sauce was nice.
Overpriced as hell and there’s a picture of Ronald Reagan on the wall

Food poisoning
Despite being so late into the night, the pizza sitting out is probably cold and not entirely fresh. I order the last chicken and bacon slice, they heat it up, took one bite and it was as if i was just serve a fresh pie. By far, the best crust I've ever had as it was so thin but still soft, perfectly savory and buttery with the toppings. To top it off, they open till 11pm, you can't go wrong with this spot if you got the munchies.

Their regular slice is mediocre but their upside down pizza is delicious. Bummer that they only take cash, or else I would go more often!

Just came home from eating at roma pizza. Iam telling I eat out alot this cozy family place is unbelievable. The service and atmosphere is great. The food I know was made with love not just put together. I say that because the taste was full of flavor and fresh.
If you like good food where the owner comes out to greet you and good service please give roma pizza a try.🥰
I grew up eating at Roma Pizza on 7th Avenue and it will always hold a special place in my heart. After toddler soccer practice my parents would take me here and those post game slices became a tradition. The smell the taste the atmosphere it is all part of my childhood.
It has been over 15 years since I have dined here but the nostalgia alone brings me back. Walking in feels like stepping into a memory and that first bite takes me right back to simpler times. Whether you are a local or just passing through Roma Pizza is not just food it is Brooklyn comfort on a paper plate.
