My son and his friend liked it here.
The staff treated him well when he ordered. Pizza was done fast. 5 stars for service.
He said his slice was good but he's had better so 4 stars. And the atmosphere is good but old fashioned. 4 stars. So he said 4 stars overall.

Delicious & Fresh! Found out a little history about the place. It's been open 60 plus years and is the oldest business in the area

A true neighborhood classic. Their pizza has that old-school NYC taste that’s getting harder and harder to find these days. My go-to is the Hawaiian pie — always perfectly balanced, with that crisp crust and just the right amount of cheese. I love that traditional flavor they’ve kept all these years. Places like this are what make Brooklyn special.

I know this place since September 1979 and always was the best. I knew Mr. Russ and Salvadore

Top notch. Stumbled upon it while walking by. First the smell got me then the ambiance and then the pizza sealed the deal. The dudes working were pretty chill too. Should be on everyone's go to list.

Would have been my favourite pizza restaurant in the world if it hadn’t been for the 290mph air conditioning unit above my face

Ordered a slice and pepperoni rolls to go. Unfortunately, the food tasted stale and poorly stored. I also felt uncomfortable being repeatedly asked if I wanted to order more after declining.

The best pizza in Greenpoint. Sure there are fancy places all around popping up, but remember, this is where everyone used to grab a bite before it turned to Manhattan. It is as old school as it gets! Thank you Russ for sticking around this long!
I tried their unique Stuffed Broccoli Riccota Garlic slice. At first they told me it would be $6, but then they quickly changed it to $7. It was decent, and it filled me up like two slices would, so I guess it was worth it.
Absolutely so suprised that they said I had to buy something to use the bathroom! I brought my 4 year old daughter inside and they refused her to use the bathroom unless I bought something and I wouldn’t recommend giving them your business because they only care about money clearly. The food also looked VERY DRY and old.. do better.

Their red sauce is slightly sweet and their employees are even more so!!! 10/10
Have gone here many times over the past 40+years of living in Greenpoint and they just keep getting worse and worse.Pizza slices showed up late and ice cold. When I called prior to check up on it, the guy barked at me on the phone. Not the first time this has happened. They're not customer friendly.
Pizza might have been good if it was fresh and even warm.
This was the last time.

Nice pizza ? so close to the River Revival NYC! Makes it easy to grab a slice after the service!
Tasty pizza, super-fast service, efficient employees. Stopped by for a quick snack, 2 more people on line in front of me, 22 minutes to order. Pizza was ready pretty quickly, had a great quick lunch ?
