I had a good time. I went on a Sunday with my wife and it was a pretty chill atmosphere. I had the steak tacos and she had the birria tacos. Both were super delicious. Great place to eat.

The food was surprisingly mediocre to bad. Avoid the guacamole and any steak based dishes. Drinks were fine. Service good.

We had Birria, Carne Asada and Pollo Asado Tacos with Beans on the side. Everything tasted very delicious. We recommend this place.

I wish I would’ve known about this place a lot sooner. Food was so tasty and well seasoned. I had the birria and al pastor tacos, and the cheese with chorizo appetizer. The ambience was fun and lively, but not loud. It also had a nice bar atmosphere. This is the type of place where you want to have a good meal, and be around people. Will definitely come back.

My friend Pam, not her real name, ate there today with another friend whom I cannot name, and they both loved it. Now I am very excited to go and experience it for myself. Pam said that the food was beautifully presented and was fresh and delicious.
Lovely space with good food. Great service!

The Happy Hour margaritas were amazing, then they were followed up by the delicious chicken, steak and shrimp tacos! Definitely have to go back. The waiter was very attentive and helpful.

Absolutely loved this Mexican spot! The food is incredible—everything from the chicken to the salmon was spot on. The drinks are super creative and fun, making it the perfect spot for date night or hanging out with friends. I finished my meal with churros, which were amazing! Such a fun experience overall—highly recommend checking it out.

I recently placed an order for pick up. The place was very nice, staff was courteous, but when I got home and opened the bag, I was a little surprised, the portions seemed small. I ordered 3 items, nothing fancy paid $75.
Would I do it again? No.
One and done.

We were warmly greeted, seated at a great table and promptly served by Diego who knew the menu very well. Fresh guacamole and chips kicked off our great meal. Excellent birria and al pastor tacos, both well filled and brimming with flavor. What a great evening!

The food is really good here. This was my second time and the enchiladas verdes did not disappoint. I lived in Austin for many years and know my Mexican food, I am very picky. While the enchiladas here don't have the crispy edges that the dish calls for the sauce and the chicken and cheese were all on point. The guacamole is also good, not as fresh as last time but still good. my husband had a chicken dish with cheese and it had pieces of poblano peppers in it. It was really good, a bit too spicy for my old stomach but it was really good. The only thing not right about Ruta is the atmosphere. For this quality of food a crisp table cloth, and a more subdued and less cafeteria feel would go a long way. It feels too much like a bright lit daytime diner. The servers and all the staff are top notch and really nice. I just wish it felt a bit more polished and upscale inside. Even changing the lighting would go a long way.
I have been there twice they have no bottle beer. Corona, Heineken, modelo. the food was just ok. I am allergic to shellfish and was told I couldn't be accomodated i was able to have a salad this was the only thing that was not contaminated.
