As a huge fan of Ramen this place is legit. Wonderful spicy miso ramen with super flavorful broth and excellent real Japanese noodles. The place has a casual no frills vibe because it’s all about the food. Wonderful fast service and it wasn’t busy on a Saturday night. It should be packed I don’t get it. Seriously go here. Sorry forgot to take pictures the food distracted me.

We went for lunch and the ramen was really good. Been there twice so far. Very tradish, it was japanese tapas and ramen. During the day would recommend the lunch special

This spot keeps things simple but delivers where it counts. The space itself is straightforward, minimalist with a few eye-catching art pieces that serve as great conversation starters. The food is solid, with a nice variety of options, and the service is great, attentive, and welcoming without being overbearing. One standout feature is the impressive selection of house-made sake, which adds a unique touch to the experience. While the overall ambiance leans on the plain side, the quality of the service and drinks make it a worthwhile visit.

Bad service and not worth the price
Everyone knows that in Japan you serve food. All the plates are supposed to be equal and balanced. This restaurant does not do that. The noodles stuck together. They were not fresh and the food was not warm enough, but it is considered an insult when the balance of soup of my friend was not equal with the other soups served on the table. We only ate it out of courtesy, but if they want to uphold Japanese quality service, Japanese or not, they need to go to Japan, and see how it’s done. Take your food seriously and always respect your customers dish in balance warmth and Courtesy as if you are serving your own Parents. Do better. There are other sushi restaurants just opening steps away. Hayaku Shimasu and serve the right way. I recommend no dish until better. Excuse my direct words. アイラ

The tsukemen i thought was delicious, the thick creamy broth coated the noodles and ingredients so well, it was a delicious broth with some good noodles, the karaage was hot and juicy but could use some work, at least a lemon wedge would have elevated it, but friendly staff a little slow but nothing that stood out to call them out on. Would definitely return for a bowl.

Amazing food, amazing service. They were showing Akira on the projector and let me stay to watch it all then gave me free dessert on top of it all. Really incredible time here — Thanks so much!

i have known this place for years. they recently have changed the store interior style and it turned into a modern minimalism place. it could use some more decorations though to make it more vibrant and stylish. food wise! i liked the ramen here because of the hokkaido style broth and ramen noodles. after the new crews taking over the management, ramen even tastes better to me! i usually come here after work 10pm and just get a bowl of miso spicy ramen and enjoy it myself alone so much. i hope they continue making a great bowl of ramen like this. its hard to find a good ramen spot in brooklyn/ny… definitely gonna come back for trying others on the new menu!

So this is my first time coming to this establishment I ordered two orders of ramen . The host asked if it was okay I pay first I said not a problem and he also stated because I didn’t pay last time I came. It threw me completely off because it was my first time . I asked if he knew me because I definitely wasn’t the person who he thought I was, so assuming he knew as racially profiling me because I was black and I guess all black people look alike to him and his eyes !!!! I’ll NEVER SPEND MONEY HERE AGAIN . I also asked if the cook can use gloves because he was using his bare hands to grab noodles and vegetables while rubbing his nose. Ppl spend your money else whew Ichiran on Johnson ave is better much cleaner and they treat people of alll races as one and the food is good !

Low key izakaya that is bright.
The karage was 10/10. Okonomiyaki was way too saucey. Dumplings were good too.
Fried tonkatsu was kind of dry and the mains (rice bowls, especially the roe) were very very salty. Tsukemen was lackluster.

super weird experience- the restaurant is missing all the decor that made it look nice in some previous photos, to the point where we wondered if we were at the right place. only way we could tell it was the same was from the menus! food was ok, server seemed kind of nervous to be managing the store on his own and dropped things a couple times. we were the only ppl there so he was very attentive, but there was a point where we were a little uncomfortable

All I can say is WOW! Went with a group of 3 and we all got different dishes for our main entree. Started out with a pitcher of Sapporo. For apps we got the kakuni and karaage. The pork kakuni was so soft it pulled apart easily. Karaage was cooked to perfection, so crispy and the chicken was juicy. For our entrees we got the spicy tan tan ramen, shoyu ramen, and sauce katsu bowl. The tan tan broth was so rich and creamy! Absolutely delicious. Shoyu ramen had a great flavor profile, but we preferred the tan tan broth. The ramen noodles had a great bite to them. Sauce katsu bowl was thoroughly enjoyed by my friend, said the meat was cooked perfectly, only comment was that there was a little too much rice.
Service was friendly and quick. Venue looks different than what you see online, a little more muted. Only some small art hung of the walls all around. The menu we received was slightly different than what was online but we will definitely be coming back to try other dishes!
Parking: Lucky enough to find a spot right outside the restaurant! And since it was Sunday it was free otherwise you have to pay Monday-Saturday

The noodle is very hard. Didn’t cook enough time, same the the fried chicken karage, and the waiter even worse, just explained the cook said it’s cooked, very disappointing.
