Great ambience. Highly recommend this place. Food was delicious, had the Tuna Crudo for an appetizer followed by the Beef & Broccoli, Fried Rice, and Chilli Garlic Tofu all great in their own ways.

A neighborhood charm! With great cocktails and great (yet a bit too salty for my taste but certainly ok for Michelin guide) food with excellent service. Cute ambiance. Clean bathroom. It is a must visit!!

So disappointing- go to Shan on smith for superior food and an actual understanding of Chinese American. Extremely expensive, cartoonishly small boxes of rice for $3 each, incorrect order delivered (received fried rice instead of an entree costing $10 more) after 1.5 hrs of waiting on a Sunday, and a representation of everything that is going downhill in this overpriced neighborhood.

Hands down best chinese food ever. The vegetable fried rice is spot on perfect. The branzio is another home run.

The food tasted on par of take away, in the case of beef and broccoli i would’ve preferred my local take out instead.

The staff were kind, warm, and knowledgeable about the food.

The atmosphere was very cool but the music was way too loud for the space and couldn’t hear my wife. The table next to us also noted the same.

I don’t mean this to be mean but the food was some of the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had in my life. Just fyi. Really nice service im sure great people, good vibe. I don’t usually leave reviews - just as a heads up

Limited menu options helps the customer decide easier. However, the food here seems very americanized. Im not saying this is a good or a bad thing. If your looking for traditional Chinese food, this is not the place. But for western influenced trendy dining, then this is a good option in the neighborhood.

Sal Tang’s is an excellent addition to the neighborhood. There is comfortable seating outside, however the interior of the restaurant is worth checking out and might provide an even cozier atmosphere. The menu has some delicious dishes that mix Cantonese, American, and Italian. This is Chinese-American comfort food done really well.
