This place SUCKED. The grits were tasteless and had the consistence of slop. The fish was rubbery, old, tough. I came here because of the reviews but what are you all eating? Cause what I got at 11am on May 23rd was trash.

So happy I found this place. The fish and grits was delicious. The chicken cutlet and turkey sandwich were also perfection. Generous with meat and very reasonable prices, everything made quickly and fresh to order. Everything is halal. Can’t wait to try everything else

Sals is the best. First time coming was summer 1987…yes 1987 and have been coming since.i might have had 75-85% of the menu no exaggeration. Not to many business like this left around. He watched a lot of our parents grow up and now our kids eat there. Alhumdulillah To sal and Mustafa??

My first time here and I almost ignorantly interrupted Sal's morning prayer, but his regulars gently stopped me. They have enormous respect for him.I ordered a breakfast sandwich which was delicious and made with love, but what got me was Sal's deadpan humor.One of the regulars asked if Sal remembered to put jelly on his roll and without missing a beat Sal said, "no jelly, only ketchup with syrup". We all started roaring with laughter as Sal gets immediately back to work without a wink of recognition. Easily the coolest cat in Brooklyn.Won my heart immediately I'll be back tomorrow.

My favorite breakfast spot in the area for many many years. Like 20 years. I love the fish and grits. The sausage egg and cheese. Sal and Muhammad my guys just always the same. Perfect. Always to go. Call in your order or go wait on the side in the small space between the wall and the deli like everyone else. If you go on a school day in the morning good luck. They have pancakes and other things too even sandwiches and breakfast all day.
