Divine food!! Such a cute space too and the chef and waiter were so lovely to us. We got the whole room to ourselves as we were eating at 5pm on a Monday but some of the best food we have had in New York. The sashimi was a knock out and cannot wait to go back. The best dish was by FAR the lamb kofta and the waiter was so good to tell us to only get one ie not add another lamb kofta ball so we had one each

UPDATE:Thank you for your reply, our party of two was not in a rush by any means. This was an experience I will never forget, it is okay to be humble and not blame shift! Best of luck :)--I had the opportunity to visit this establishment yesterday, and while the initial experience started off well, I regret to say that our visit took an unfortunate turn due to the behavior of one of the staff members, specifically a middle-aged lady at the front of the house. Initially, everything seemed fine, but we encountered an issue with one of our main courses being overly salted. Though the dish was cooked tenderly and would have been delightful with the proper seasoning, we felt compelled to send it back. Following our decision not to have the dish remade, the atmosphere changed; the lady in question seemed eager for us to leave, passively suggesting as much by prematurely bringing our check while we were still enjoying our other dishes and drinks.When the time came to settle our bill, I approached her with our cards, only to be dismissed because she was occupied with a conversation, indicating she would attend to us later. Thankfully, another waiter stepped in shortly after and assisted us efficiently, which was a relief.I'm disheartened by this experience, as it could have been approached with more understanding and professionalism. Despite this, I wish the establishment all the best in the future and hope they can view this feedback as constructive.

Simply amazing. I stumbled on across this place and it was warm and inviting so I decided to step in. They were friendly and accommodating so I stayed for dinner and I’m glad I did. The food was authentic, simple, and delicious. The muhammara was fresh, sweet and savory, and perfect with the fresh pita bread. The fluke had a delicate caramelized sauce. The branzino was perfect for two and matched well with the leeks. I’ll be back.

Overall fairly interesting food. The muhammara and scallop crudo were my top 2 dishes. Our group of three all liked the muhammara and we asked for an extra order of the bread. I feel the vegetables dish were no more special than what you would find at a Chinese restaurant.

Amazing lunch as Pita Shop. The natural wines they have on the menu are thoughtfully selected and paired really well. We lucked out that it was Christmas weekend and they weren't packed. Can't wait to come back. Had the lamb over rice and the cauliflower pita.
