I avoided this place for about two years because I always went to A.T.M vegan, but they were closed one day and I decided to go here for once. Absolutely glad I did. The Morning Star sandwich I had was absolutely delicious and the triple 3 sandwich was good as well. I will definitely be returning.

The three special sandwiches I got from here were the blood moon, red riding hood, and cease her. All three exceeded my expectations on price, quality, size of sandwich, and taste. The veggies in the sandwich were fresh and balanced the seitan and each sandwich was unique/tasty in its own way. The blood moon was my favorite because it the unique components of the sandwich tasted so good together. Will be back to try other specials as well as their consistent sandwiches.

I've been going to Seitan's Helper probably since 2021/2022. They have consistently made fantastic sandwiches, and they are always so sweet every time I go. I do not live too close so I go when I can and have never had an unpleasant experience even once. I hope they will continue to do well and be able to expand their menu once again. The restaurant business is so hard and I've seen many great places close their doors over the years that eventually become a chain restaurant that is not nearly as good. Support this business. My non-vegan mom eats from there every time I pick up food.

The hype is real! Seitan’s Helper has amazing sandwiches. We got the Troll and the Triple Threat based on the advice from the person behind the counter. I was completely blown away! The Triple Threat was particularly stand out because it reminded me of Italian sandwiches I used to eat with a perfect blend of vegan meats on fluffy bread that soaked up the flavors without overwhelming the sandwich. 10/10

Fabulous food made by wonderful people! We’re regular customers - the rotating specials and warm service keep us coming back. If you prefer to make your own sandwich, they offer vegan deli meats a la carte as well.

Discovered this gem during COVID, and to this day, there’s no better place in NYC to enjoy Seitan. The menu is decadent — whether you’re grabbing a sandwich or picking up Seitan to take home, it never disappoints. The experience has only improved over time. The woman who used to ask about tips during COVID (which I assumed were for me, the one biking for pickup!) seems to be gone now — or at least I haven’t seen her in a while — making the overall vibe even better. Flavorful, consistent, and hands-down a must-try.

I usually never leave reviews but for this spot I just had to. I loved everything about this place, from the food to the ambience and service. I went with a friend and we got a sandwich, wrap, and potato salad. Everything was delicious and we can’t wait to come back to try the other items on the menu. 10/10
