Amazing breakfast spot in Brooklyn, NY. Has the atmosphere of a hidden speakeasy. Smaller restaurant so I suggest arriving early. Cocktails were *Chef's Kiss* real stong and tasteful. The grits are to die for! Strongly recommend when visiting NYC!

Always a most marvelous time to be had at Shane's whether it's brunch, lunch or late lunch this spot definitely won't let your or your guest down.
Just had brunch here this morning and it was awesome! Everyone was really attentive and nice. The food was delicious (with big portions)! I got the whiting fish and grits with a cinnamon donut waffle. The fish was crispy and perfectly seasoned. The waffle was a show stopper, it tasted like a churro but in waffle form. I got super sad after I finished eating it.Would definitely come back again with friends and family!

Customer service was great! My bonus daughter got married and she had her first meal as a married woman at Shane's. She had the Chicken and Waffles. I had Whiting and Grits (with cheddar). My wife had Salmon and Grits (with cheddar). New son in law (he's vegan) had this sautéed oyster mushroom dish that looked like steak and smelled incredible! Other members of the party had the Unlimited Mimosa deal and had a choice of Fish and Grits, the Big Breakfast, and Chicken and Waffles. Great day for a great daughter at a great restaurant!!! Stop by Shane's and enjoy the great food while visiting Brooklyn! Tell them Jeff Strange sent you!!!? ?????☕️

I saw some bad reviews about this place and decided to try it anyway and support black businesses. I arrived at this place at 11am on President’s Day and while waiting for my friend I tried to speak to the hostess and she wouldnt talk to me. In fact she purposely spoke to everyone else except me, she was very rude. When my friend arrived who happens to be white she let her inside the restaurant. My friend asked to speak to the hostess, and the same girl denied being the hostess. The customer service is terrible there and we decided to eat and Tom’s. Do waste your time at Shane’s!!
